Japan culture S.Korea movies outsell Hollywood & US media is crashing

Hollywood is dying, almost dead, the US comicbooks are also dying and do not sell.

Gossip that everyone knew on the industry is that Hollywood barely made money, most of their films were near flopping but with one Big Hit like Avengers, Jurassic Park, Lion King, Avatar ...Hollywood typically has been able to make its money back and recover any loss but things are changing now for the big films by big names like Warner Bros, 20th Century Studios, Paramount Pictures, Disney has bought out Fox and studios like MGM and Columbia are owned by the Japanese Sony.

The movie studios and world cinema's if they were smart could have bought up outdoor cinema, purchased closed down sites for cars, park lots and old unused farmers fields, built open cinema, traditional drive in theatre like the days of old
tumblr_no9kdrZ6FO1u3c4nno1_500.jpg
...but they didnt try to adapt or evolve in a changing world.

The current audience was already moving away, the soft power of Hollywood gone. People were already growing tired of remakes, you could read on some of the blogs and boards and sites like twitter you got to read what fans thought, they felt Hollywood was driving the whole entertainment media into the ditch. They are also out of ideas! How many times today can they remake a new Batman a King Kong a 'Superman' a "Dracula" or Ghostbusters or Teenage Mutant Turtles or Bond or Xmen or Rocky or Planet of the Apes or Friday the 13th movies again and again and again with more remakes.
It was once a place of innovation and free ideas but now its dying, the whole Corona lockdown or poor response to the Covid virus might be the final blow that kills Hollywood off for good. They have already done every Jerry Siegel Superman story, almost every Stan Lee Marvel comic, done every one of the conservative Frank Miller shocking comicbooks from Sincity to 'Cursed' to his Dark Knight Batman vs Superman stories, they have already done every Alan Moore story who said 'all of sorts of deeply offensive things about the modern entertainment industry clearly having no ideas of its own and having to go through dust bins and spittoons in the dead of night to recycle things.'
I personally think Hollywood is dead today and the US comicbook industry and other media will soon follow
How did Hollywood and US comicbooks crash so fast while Asian movies and Japanese toons have risen to only get stronger and stronger.

'The Untold Truth Of Demon Slayer'
https://www.looper.com/434112/the-untol … on-slayer/
Japan Catoon Movie Jumping to the English-speaking world. Shortly after its release, the "Demon Slayer" movie became a worldwide, record-breaking phenomenon.

The landscape has changed and there is newer competition in media, the Traditional Cinema also got replaced by the home tv and online streaming, services like Hulu, Youtube, Netflix, Disney Plus+ the Apple Tv, Philo's TV and HBO have replaced the tradional Cable and are replacing big Box Office Cinema, if California refuses to make films this year then people can run off to buy a product from some other place like Australia or Japan can they also watch them on another service. The animation “Demon Slayer” came from Japan, the Lord of the Rings movies filmed in New Zealand, Mortal Kombat a 2021 martial arts video game inspired fantasy film was made in Australia, the 'Mad Max' is another franchise not made in the USA, it is an Australian dystopian post apocalypse scifi film, if Hollywood doesnt make stuff that sells people will still have other options, they can buy Japanese toons buy film made in other countries even during the global Corona virus.

'Anime' is the term used hand-drawn Japanese toons and computer animation originating from Japan, the Manga term is used to describe their style of comicbook. The Japanese already had a following world wide with their media, their video gamer products are big sellers, Sony Playstation products from Sega like Sonic or Nintendo's Mario already are huge sellers for many decades, they make Lord of the Rings style Fantasy games called Dragon Quest and zombie horror style video games like Resident Evil or Biohazard it is not unsual for a Japan video game to sell more than 10 million copies or over 11 million or 12,500,000 + copies, US companies have started to get into the sales with the latest Xbox or games like Call of Duty or Sports Video Games but the Japanese have dominated sales for years and will continue to dominate for years more. Political events seem to have happened within the US gaming industry known as 'Gamergate' every person seems to have a different opinion as to what Gamergate actually is but it would seem to describe some kind of backlash or ideological manipulation within the US gaming industry, for whatever reasons Japan is not having its own Gamergate moment but the US gaming industry may be self censoring offensive stuff against the wishes of the Video game fans? The gaming thing became so big that even wikileaks go involved https://archive.today/o/UXsTM/http://ww … eyes-190rr If American media products don't sell then other products from overseas are going to sell anyway, a lot of US tv shows are made overseas in places like Canada for example. Foreign media like French films and Cartons, HongKong movies, Italian movies, S.Korean movies, the new breed of Asia Horror Film, the Thai Ong-Bak Kickboxing movies, all these overseas brands they already had a pretty strong cult following in American scenes, some are dubbed some are subtitled. You also get indie films made in other parts of the States, in Canada, Australia, Latin America and other places in competition inside US stores and online sites competition against the big expensive traditional Hollywood brands.

Here are the types of media buzz headlines you see from Asia entertainment media

Overseas film and Indie movies are typically 'Low Budget' far away from the big superstar Hollywood Expensive Actors and expensive sets and huge CGI production. The Foreign Movie Productions and little Indie films sometimes make highly sucessful movies for Under 10 Million, independent movie studios delivering far more cash in return. Hollywood movies are expsnive they may cost 150 $ Million + to make, huge budgets needing huge returns, Tenet and the Wonder Woman remake are now some of Hollywood's most expensive box office bombs when turkeys like this flop they can cost 50 Million in Losses maybe 100 Million Lost or more.

Ricky Gervais might have marked the death of Hollywood, he Boldly went on stage at the Awards shw and Very Graphically Called Them Out. Hollywood was once seen as a bunh of hard working immigrants, in the early days it were otehr studios like Florida making all the movies. A lot of immigrants came of California in its early days, there were immigrants of the Jewish faith, French, Scottish, Japanese, Chiinese, Italian, German, people of ethnic Jewish setting up the early studios, they were hard working and if there was an gossip or sleaze its seems they the elite of Hollywood were able to keep things out of sight and quiet, they could perhaps control the local newspapers and police to keep scandals hidden, these days all the behind the scenes drama and gossip and criminal acts are out in the open with social media like twitter etc  Hollywood in general today is seen as a den of perverts, or people out of touch with reality, something has changed with all these cults exposed, the Epstein human trafficking, people are following the gossip and crimes within the entertainment industry itself Surviving R. Kelly the tv show had millions of views and received critical acclaim.

A big issue that seems to also annoy fans seem to be pushing of political agendas, regressive disturbing politics, for example you have self-centered, conceited, egotistical politics shoehorned into comicbooks and agenda from politics forced into books where it is not neeeded, everything becomes communist or nazi, it goes from one extreme to another. They change Superman or Captain America or other characters to Black African or Lesbian or Gay or Muslim or Transexual or whatever agenda they want to push that week. In some Hollywood Tv shows, Movies and Cartoons there now seems to be a Brainwashing children propaganda, filling their heads with political nonsense before their logical thinking brain develops, in some tv shows you have horrible levels of indoctrination trying to make kids apologize for something they never did. All these wide diverse socialist ideas and hirings do not always work out, for example Marvel comicbooks announced they fired their outsourced Indonesian artist who inserted Islamist political images into issues of X-Men Gold comics. There have also been wider allegations of abuse, or against sexual abuse and sexual harassment figures like Rose McGowan, Asia Argento in the wider entertainment industry, women became leading voices in the #MeToo movement, the wider movement might have helped expose 'sex cults' within comicbook tv shows. Warner Bros and DC faced even bigger scandals and have tried to distance themselevs from a human trafficker branding Cult that was linked to one of its Sueprman tv shows, Actors going from ‘Smallville’ to a 'NXIVM' Sex Cult. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NXIVM
In Hollywood in general outside all of these scandals it seems that studios are arrogant the fans who follow complain they're mocked by the arrogant narcissistic people that work at the studios. The people at the studios think just add more michael bay style explosions, they thought that plenty of CGI and shootngs lasers and action scenes were enough to over come a poor story or bad lazy writing.

'Why Japan Does Not Have Any SJW’s Like In America'
https://andyarttv.com/why-japan-does-no … n-america/

SJW stands for Social Justice Warrior. According to urban dictionary...

In Japan, the SJW’s fight for the things they believe in like, equal rights and pay for women, rights for foreigners staying in Japan and things like fighting homelessness and so on. They tackle social issues in Japan but they never get into the entertainment stuff.
SJWs in the west complain, not just about political and social things but also about movies, TV shows and lately, anime and video games. They used anger instead of logic. They become very emotional when someone disagrees with their point of view instead of listening.

In Japan, SJW’s don’t complain about the entertainment such as movies, anime, manga, video games. They see that as entertainment and if you don’t like it then don’t consume it. Just because a manga artist created a story that you thought was offensive does not mean that the artist has to be cancel. All you have to do is not consume what the artist created. That is all.

Re: Japan culture S.Korea movies outsell Hollywood & US media is crashing

I don't know what to make of Japan animation, sometimes its fun, inovative maybe cut and other times its weird perverted adult or almost demonic, Japan culture is known for its weridness and its at times like there is no line between the childrens toons and adult Resident Evil or South Park type stuff.

They make kids toons set in space?

In the summer of 2006, Mutta Nanba and his younger brother, Hibito, witness what they believe to be a UFO, which flies off towards the Moon. Hibito decides he will go onto the Moon whilst Mutta decides he will aim for Mars. Nineteen years later, in the year 2025, Hibito has become a fully fledged JAXA astronaut assigned to go on a mission towards the moon. Mutta, on the other hand, has not been so successful in achieving his dreams. As Mutta eventually recalls his past ambitions, he receives a letter stating he has been accepted to join a JAXA training program for new astronauts. The series follows Mutta as he seeks to become an astronaut and achieve his longtime dream just like his brother did.

Re: Japan culture S.Korea movies outsell Hollywood & US media is crashing

I guess in a ways there is a Cinematic Apocalypse Wasteland however some movies are still making money during Corona, S.Korea is now selling its shows to a US market. We had a recent Space Jam 2 ranked as a Flop, however maybe cinema had already peaked with Avengers type block busters stuff and Wonder Woman 1984, The Call of the Wild, A Wrinkle in Time, Cats and Tenet were all going to bomb as box office turkeys even if we had a virus or not?

Re: Japan culture S.Korea movies outsell Hollywood & US media is crashing

The US Oscars were dominated by foreign South Korean film like 'Parasite'

Koreans are making real big film productions not just cartoons. I would have mostly watched American hollywood tv and film, however I would watch a film or show from almost anywhere, I watch stuff from France, Brazil, HongKong, China, Japan, Russia, Germany, Argentina, New Zealand, Spain, Thailand, India, Sweden whatever place...although some countries I'm not a big fan of for example I can only take so much 'Bollywood' before I get tired of the silly musical genre, I don't hate it I appreciate the dance but I get tired of it. The South Koreans are not making kids toons they are doing huge productions, they are making live action tv with real people, real big impressive sets and real actors. Guys at Hulu and Fox and WB, the big European Film companies Gaumont/Pathe/Seine-Saint-Denis production companies and the BBC and Amazon and Netflix and other places are now checking out Korean tv, some of them are flying across the world and checking out the local sets film and buying them up and getting English voice actors to have the films and tv series dubbed for a Western audience. South Korea culturally reminds me of that vitality that Japan emitted, maybe up until the 90s. Korea is like Japan used to be coming off the growth and production of the 1980s, 70s and the 1964 Summer Olympics. The Japanese are not 'extinct' they still making stuff for the cartoon market but I believe Japan already had its day in the Sun, the productions like the Godzillia movies and Power Rangers type shows and 'Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence' and Kurosawa Rashomon movies are now production from long ago. Although Japan still makes lots and lots of cartoons for the kids and Japan makes video games. American kids would rather wacth and read a Japan cartoon than watch some Superman or 'Fantastic Four' while Japan's brand is still selling I feel now it is S.Korea is even more ahead and it is South Korea that is leading a lot of stuff culturally.

I honestly believe Hollywood is now done, it won't comeback next year, it could take some years to recover and I do not believe it will ever be the same. At one time a big Hollywood bloated giant could crawl past the finish line, a big 100 million Dollar could make 90 million at the Box Office and then recover it all the in the US international market and internationally as a cult VHS LaserDisc DVD hit, in the 90s and 2000s every playstation and computer and xbox started to become a big hit for the DVD market. Everyone had a cheap DVD player, the studios could recover loss all those 20 bucks DVD sales, other formats HD and Bluray came along but it wasn't the hit that DVD was. The movie industry has now gone like the music inudtsry, now with cheaper streaming and illegal download torrents all that entire industry is almost dead. I also believe people got tired of the sleaze inside Hollywood, the sleaze of the casting couch, the degenerates like Tarantino and Weinstein, I know there have been scandals before in the past but this time I think its different, these types of guys might never make another big movie ever again in their life. There will be a loss of the American Brand as Hollywood itself could have been a propaganda outlet to sell a strong positive image of the USA. Not every studio in Hollywood will die, a few big ones will survive the Marvel/Disney type are strong enough to ride out the covid virus, they do still make big money even during a Corona wasteland, however something has changed.

I think change could be for the better, it could help other states, there might be smaller thrillers, other more thought provoking low budget inside scifi, smaller cult hit horror movies and dramas, other States like Georgia, Utah, NewYork, Denver Colorado, Florida, Mississippi, Texas and other indie places and independent studio productions leading the arts for film, some local politicians seeing the value in the local employment created and giving the studios tax breaks. Here's a question to ask if the USA and Canada have similar economies then why were studios for so many years packing their bags in an Exodus from California and going to Vancouver, BC.
Perhaps the biggest thing that killed Hollywood was the celebrity political division it started to cause in America, the Woke Bolsevik stuff.
For whatever reason S.Korea is not suffering from that whole political bolsevik wokeness that destoryed the charm of some older Hollywood classic films.

where to start on South Korean film?

There are probably tons and tons of lists out there on blogs and video social media channels and movie message boards.

Maybe
Squid Games a season of a TV show - this series is hard to describe without spoilers, it is one of the highest downloaded/streamed tv shows of all time, its a very weird scifi show about  players people, all of whom have fallen on hard times, all are in deep financial debt, risk their lives to play a series of deadly children's style gameshow games, some critics think it might be a commentary on the ratrace itself inside Korean life.

'Parasite'  - Hard to describe without spoiling, its a dark comedy thriller film or a non American, S.Korean film wins the Oscar for Best Picture

Train to Busan - a thrillingly unique look at S.Korea through the horror action packed eyes of a zombie movie, S.Koreans also seem to have this thing about trains in their films, they have this thing about 'gangster world' like Scorsese does in US film and period pieces with old costume and martial arts feature in their movies but the whole 'Train' thing and 'Horror' genre is a big feature in their entertainment.

Oldboy - A dark disturbing dystopian story about guy's revenge? the Korean movie is insipred by a foreign Japan comicbook on him being kidnapped and imprisoned for years.

'Snowpiercer' - a more Western scifi film, not really Korean it feels almost American but its production was Korean. Mankind tries to fix global warning but makes a mistake leading to global cooling. The survivors of mankind are in a train called the Snowpiercer it travels around the globe and the people inside live inside a new class/caste system

JSA - a kind of thriller where a neutral Swiss/Swedish team investigates killings at the North/South Korean border/DMZ region.
The Host - a new giant mutant monster pops out of Seoul's Han River and begins attacking people it lays eggs inside on victim.

Re: Japan culture S.Korea movies outsell Hollywood & US media is crashing

I might understand how they could make Roman a North African or Arab guy leading some town but sometimes the BBC tries too hard...a guy from the Congo, Niger, Angola, Liberia, Uganda, Nigeria, Rwanda led Rome? Maybe he also was doing electronic Rap beats for the homeboy and leading BLM Antifa protests across Rome, a guy from Sub Sahara Desert leads the Roman Empire?

Anyone remember that old film where John Wayne wore yellow make up with a fu manchu mustache and played Genghis Khan...well this casting choice might be equally as inspiring.

Social Justice Warrior fatigue: Why anime and manga are outselling DC and Marvel comics - by Dimitry Paulk - complete (24:03 min) Audio Mp3 https://xenagoguevicene.files.wordpress … ga2jan.mp3
In the West vs. East battle of entertainment industries, manga, anime and Korean dramas are steadily gaining ground

Manga vs US Comics
https://www.animeindependent.net/articl … _US_Comics
Ethan Van Sciver's Cyberfrog is outselling Marvel and DC

So what's next?

For US comics, the choice is a straight one - change or die. At the moment, it seems like those working in US comics are happy to double-down on their politics, even when the owners are culling management at an alarming rate. Similarly, industry professionals look at comic sales as a whole, including manga, which are rising - but only because the growth of manga is rapidly outpacing the decline of US books. This blinkered attitude to reality isn't sustainable, so it's likely that the course will change in the next few years. Sadly, much like Marvel in 1996, it may be too little, too late. It's clear that comic companies are being farmed for IP, or even being actively used by comic creatives as a way into a Netflix deal. It's odd to see people who care so little about the medium being in charge of it.

Conversely, manga is being championed by creatives and publishing houses that are outgoing and positive in almost every sense. There's a feeling of communal pride and joy across Japanese comics, which offers a far greater spread of genres, ideas and great art than what we're seeing in the West.

So long as US Comics continue to destructively change their major heroes in lieu of new ideas and alienate their fragile audience, it can only continue to lose ground to the innovative and imaginative Eastern powerhouse of manga. While I hope they wise up and start treating their whole audience with a bit of respect, I won't shed any tears if the house of woke cards collapses in its current state either.

Ultimately then, manga isn't killing the US comics industry, it's just giving readers a place to go while they kill themselves.

One Piece Officially Outsells Every Single Batman Comic Ever... Combined
https://screenrant.com/one-piece-most-s … es-record/
One Piece is the best-selling manga in history and it just went over half a billion volumes, completely outselling every single Batman comic combined.
'One Piece tells the story of Luffy, a young boy who dreams of becoming the Pirate King in a world that is mostly encompassed by seas with small islands scattered throughout. Pirates are adventurers who value freedom more than anything else and usually oppose the tyrannical World Government and its military arm, the Marine. To become the Pirate King, Luffy has to reach the hidden island of Laugh Tale and retrieve the mysterious treasure known as One Piece, left there by the previous King, Gol D. Roger.'

But it wasn’t until 2015—when the # OscarsSoWhite controversy engulfed the 87th Academy Awards—that studio chiefs and producers really started to rethink how they did business. This gained momentum in 2016, and even more in late 2017, with # MeToo.

Then came George Floyd, and, in the summer of 2020, everything that had been happening in slow motion started to happen much faster.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences—the industry’s central nervous system—had been founded in 1927, and now it had 8,469 voting members. It had tried over the years, and especially since Donald Trump’s election, to catch up with the zeitgeist, inviting into its ranks a record number of new members who were black, Latino, women or foreign-born.

But that wasn’t going to cut it any longer.

The British government and it's state run media entity the BBC, are not exactly run by the British people.  Both are controlled by 'those who must not be criticised' and are obsessed with mongrelising and undermining the English.  In fact, Britain could aptly be described as a kosher run police state.  That 'unacceptable behaviour team' is basically there in case someone says something that is unacceptable to Britain's masters.

Amazon and major websites owned by the BigTech Amazon machine ban or suspend negative viewers reviews

Of course you have the usual elite media morons when they see their trash work of plagiarized Tolkien 'art' criticized
Tolkien is dead but his name lives on in legend, his name is part of Western Civilization like all the fantasy and kids books and philosophy and histroical stores like Mark Twain, Watership Down, Dune, The Great Gatsby, or Charles Dickens, Gone with the Wind or Shakespeare Le Petit Prince  or Frankenstein, the name and book almost as big as or almost as big as the Bible, the book already has huge fans, millions upon millions and LOTR are some of the best selling books of all time, with a following for its cartoons and Peter Jackson movies, they already have a Huge fanbase so the Orwellian thought police freaks at Amazon reply with the usual You're Racialists, Youre the New Hitler, You're Anti-Transexuals, The Racists, You're Donald Trump supporter, must Ban Racialisms.

People come up with genuine criticism of your dumb show

Andy Jassy the current President and CEO, Jeff Bezos still involved as executive chairman. So people don't like your new expensive dumb tv show.

and what do you do as elitist media team do, you outright ban their voices and you call them Adolf Hitler you say people who like the original books are the same as those that caused WW2 and sending people to holocaust gas chambers, what a way to isolate, insult and slander your entire fanbase

Maybe the way to do this is for a series of groups of LOTR fan club around the world to take Lawsuits against Amazon and sue them Million upon millions for Libel and Slander

Godwin's law has truly been broken

Rise of the new Puritans: Once it was religious fanatics who sucked all the fun out of life but today it's joyless young social justice warriors, writes JULIE BURCHILL, as she reveals why she refuses to bow at their altar of wokeness
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/arti … eness.html

The American wit Gore Vidal once observed that, in the 17th century, the Puritans left England for America 'not because they were persecuted for their religious beliefs, but because they were forbidden to persecute others for their beliefs'.

Surveying the ever-growing pile-up that is wokery in Britain, it's hard not to recall these words. For woke is the first alleged social justice movement that seeks not to extend freedoms, but — in the manner of all vicious, bullying cults — to limit them.

The great progressive crusades of the 20th century — from women's liberation to civil rights for black and gay people — sought to increase the span of human dignity by making sure the same rules applied fairly and to everyone.

But as I pointed out in the book I published last year, Welcome To The Woke Trials: How Identity Killed Progressive Politics, the woke movement — that censorious, high-minded mob trying to force everyone else into following their narrow worldview — has nothing so liberal about it.

Instead, it has far more in common with the hysterical witch-hunting of the Middle Ages.

Now two new books take up my thesis: that wokery has a quasi-religious nature, and it's only getting worse

American Pop Culture Suffers under the Yoke of ‘Woke’
https://www.nationalreview.com/the-morn … e-of-woke/

On the menu today: a break from politics, in which I contemplate whether American pop culture has reached a point of boredom and stagnation — perhaps Ross Douthat would call it “decadence” — and whether the woke philosophy, which has taken deep root in Hollywood, constrains the creativity needed for exciting, compelling, memorable storytelling.

Is American Culture Boring? Or Just Woke Culture?

Michelle Goldberg of the New York Times is bored with American popular culture, and echoes literary critic Christian Lorentzen’s lament that, “Hollywood movies are boring. Television is boring. Pop music is boring. The art world is boring. Broadway is boring. Books from big publishing are boring.” She warns:

An obvious caveat: I’m a white middle-aged parent, so whatever is truly cool is, by definition, happening outside my purview. Still, when I go to coffee shops where young people are hanging out, the music is often either the same music I listened to when I was young, or music that sounds just like it. One of the year’s biggest hit singles is a Kate Bush song that came out in 1985. I can think of no recent novel or film that provoked passionate debate. Public arguments people do have about art — about appropriation and offense, usually — have grown stale and repetitive, almost rote.

There is also an insanity within the Western world where elitist ban anything WHICH might be racist in some kind of abstract paranoid way

For example they censor board game art or re-do video games in 'Gamergate' style reaction, D&D bans space monkey race. "How can I look at monkeys and not think of black people?"
https://youtu.be/b9flDEAfvmM
When SJW people watched Reagan's Bedtime for Bonzo  or Clint Eastwood’s orangutans name Clyde, Clint Eastwood’s companion in the 1978 blockbuster Every Which Way But Loose, Planet of the Apes, or children's toons or ORcs and Goblins or Space creatures are they so insane they think these movies were specifically made to mock a Black African, . King Kong vs. Godzilla, BAbe in the City, Gorillas in the Mist, Jungle produced by Walt Disney Productions  or Tarzan or George of the Jungle that everything must be racialist, this is the way their reverse racism brain works?

Winged monkeys are fictional characters created by American author L. Frank Baum in his children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, do they also believe these creature or other aliens in scifi or fantasy must be a 'Race'?

Re: Japan culture S.Korea movies outsell Hollywood & US media is crashing

The comicbook universe movies like Avengers was probably peak box office takings, it started to die, then 'Covid' hit and Corona virus restriction and then post Covid came signals of politik virtue, political messages and social political justice rules. Not all failed and flops.
A movie returns to the patriot message of the 80s the new TopGun made money, a new Spider-Man a remake of old Peter Parker stories and Superhero makes big money, a new 'Avatar' made money.
Cash take does not mean best 'Art', peak box office takings does not mean quality, however there was something huge and impressive about the takings of Superman, Batman, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Avengers, Star Wars, Star Trek, Spider-Man, the X-Men franchise. Not all fanchise products are loved. For example Transformers are a successful franchise but critics generally think of them as mindless explosive entertainment trash, sometimes even fans admit the movies are dumb. Sometimes there is a cultural difference between Hollywood inside culture, the critics and overall fans of a product. The Marvel Disney machine is generally respected for its ability to pull in big money, some say that people might develop fatigue and Superheroes could fade and go the way of Cowboy Western movies but Marvel and Disney can make money.

However some movies are expensive products to make, it can be very close between success and flopping and more Flop and Turkey and Box Office bombs arrive ‘Strange World’ , ‘The 355’  , ‘Antman Quantumania’,  ‘Babylon’, ‘Matrix Resurrections’  and ‘Black Adam’
Small indie thriller or fantasy or horror production in the USA are trying to build new from the ground up.Low Budget making money at the box office or a feature film or short film that is produced outside the major film studio system

its been in decline since for a while, more 2018, a big drop with Covid and it should have recovered post-Covid but now there are lots of people pushing divisive SJW left vs right and Conservative vs Liberal politics in tv and movies that turn audiences away.

However the madness seems to have a real element to it, they lost the comicbook superhero thing a market already over saturated and now all of those movies bombing and box office typically flops. The New Indiana Jones Flop, Strange World Flops, Lightyear Flop, 'The 355' Flops, Disney Marvel's New Antman Flops, The Matrix Resurrections Flop, Batgirl an unreleased American superhero film that would have been so damaging to the Warner Bros and the DC brand they decided to burn hundreds of millions of US Dollars rather than ever allow it to see the light of day. Some movies like Top Gun Maverick, Barbie or Oppenheimer make money but it is a very different market today.
