Large Ship Project Management

In the Zoom meeting of April 3rd, 2022, RobertDyck suggested developing a PERT chart to help organize activity to bring the large Ship idea into the Real Universe.

This topic is available to support the identification of tasks to be performed, in parallel and in sequence.

However, there is NO substitute for bending metal.  This topic should NOT be used as a mechanism for further waste of time.

Large Ship Prime is: Large scale colonization ship by RobertDyck
This topic is offered as a way to consolidate posts about project design, coordination and achievement reporting
Posts entered into this topic will (hopefully) remain on topic, so that a future Large Ship planner can focus upon the topic.

Re: Large Ship Project Management

For SpaceNut re #2... Thanks for giving your support to this topic!

While the topic itself was suggested by RobertDyck for Large Ship (Prime) it could serve as a focal point for task sets within the scope of Large Ship.

The project comprises many categories, each of which will eventually involve hundreds of people before the ship takes physical form.

As just one example, the important work on developing a dynamic radiation shield could benefit with a well designed PERT chart.
