Getting closer to launch day Hope Mars mission: How to watch the historic launch Tuesday Tuesday, July 14, at 1:51 p.m. PT.
Tanegashima, a Japanese island in the north Pacific ocean, a Mitsubishi H-IIA booster will send the probe on its path to mars.
The satellite will study the connections between Mars' lower and upper atmosphere and examine what causes the loss of hydrogen and oxygen into space. It'll collect data for two years after achieving its orbit around Mars in February 2021. There's an option to extend the mission to 2025.

The Hope probe launched from Tanegashima Space Center in southwestern Japan. The UAE has not yet announced partners for the rocket or launch pad for its 2024 unmanned lunar mission.

It occurs to me that there might be some small potential the Nation would be interested in the Lander Engineering Probes idea, if they knew about it. They can certainly afford the $300 MM(US) that would be involved.
