In 2004, NASA will send up the Cassini probe in the Hyugens lander, to the largest moon of Saturn, Titan. Titan has a methane based atmosphere, ((so don't light a match)), along with liquids over the moon. It is the most possible location in our solar system to support life. It should reach there, at 2010, or something. I forget.

Cassini Launched in 1998 or 1999, will arrive in Saturn orbit in a year or so. Is not 100% functional though.
We are only limited by our Will and our Imagination.

What the hell is wrong with Cassini??!!!!

As far as I know the probe is in perfect shape. There was a minor glitch some time ago but they resolved it. Cassini-Huygens will arrive at Saturn in 2004.

Thats a link that talks about the problem with Huygens to Cassini relay communications. Has problems compensating for Doppler Shifts in Tx and Rx frequencies.
I believe this one has worked out, but there was some lens fogging issues.
Other then that.. Looks good. Look at Galileo, it had some issues, but still had a very succesful mission. I think Cassini Will turn out the same way. We are batting 5/5 though with our long range probes. There just must be something about MARS!!!!

i heard this spacecraft has A.I. navigation controls in it; it is pretty sophisticated and looks to have a pretty reliable mission.
