And to the intrepid band of 13 women who passed all the astronaut testing procedures back in the 60s - but were never allowed to become astronauts because they lacked the balls for it!!

One of those 13 women, Wally Funk, might be not only the first woman, but the first person, to orbit in a totally private spacecraft.  She's working with Interorbital right now on accomplishing that.  You can find info on it that these pages:

Free Spirit, that's awesome. I know of the 13 astronauts Shaun was speaking of, and it'd be great to see one of them vindicated.
