Re: Blur goes to Mars - The first pop band on Mars

I read that the British pop group Blur will have one of their songs on a Mars mission this year. Does anyone know the title of the song and when will the the transmission back to Earth take place?

I found some more information on the Beagle 2 webpage.  "Beagle 2" is a new composition and is included on the CD (CD2) of the third single, No Distance Left To Run, from Blur's album '13'. Read more

OH OH. BLUR! Parklife. Awesome. I was thinking, ?Who is Blur?? And totally forgot who they were.

Well this is bloody brilliant. Somewhat similar to what NASA did with Odyssey and Vangelis (Mythedoia), though in a much much cooler way. smile

YES! Excellent idea. Blur is one of the most creative and clever rock/pop bands around.
