The weirdness of Mars...

We really need to get to Mars to investigate these images - all genuine (check out the raw images):

************

https://www.liveabout.com/thmb/-UBzvFIJ … e59369.jpg

If you saw this on Earth you'd say "bone"...probably a thigh bone...

************

The "mobile phone" found on Mars - but with an ape image on it...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HscOrVf1I0&t=300s

I don't think anyone claims to know what this really is, but I think we can safely assume it is nothing like any "rock" found on Earth.

************

Then what about probably the most persuasive "statue" found on Mars. What are the chances of a random rock displaying not just one facial feature but several - eye, nose, cheek, forehead...and in the right locations/proportions for a humanoid figure? - but not just that, being surrounded by rocks with straight bevilled edges suggestive of pedestals and the like...?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQwOw4MCq8Y&t=121s

***********

Then there's the perfect pyramid - another "rock"?  How many of those do we find in nature on Earth?

https://www.theblackvault.com/casefiles … 70x646.jpg

***********

Sure looks like petrified wood:

http://www.antagonist.ca/resources/mars1-tree.jpg

CONCLUSION:

This is just a small selection of I would say perhaps 100-200 plus photos from Mars that are extremely anomalous and do not suggest a the sort of rocky desert landscape that the original Viking lander photos perhaps suggested.

We need to get to Mars as soon as possible to start investigating these fantastic phenomena up close.

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

The Real Mars topic of Tmcom has been quite the eye opener at times and when you look at the many images there is only one thing that we need is to put up or shut up in man going to mars....
Mars is a puzzle as to what has happened and when did it happen and its been through quite a bit over the billion of years like earth has.
The history of mars is going at a snails pace and will not go all that much faster even if it had a hundred MSL rovers crawling around its surface. Or a 20 more Mavens on orbit to study the planet from afar.

This "rock" is also very interesting...looks more like a milestone and seems to have some form of writing or inscription on it...

Can't say I've ever seen anything natural like that on Earth.

I've never seen a rock looking like a pillow on Earth -

See 12:28.

Such amazing images from Mars! And that's from NASA who aren't really seeking them out...

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

Could be a rock...but an extremely unusual one that has the features of something like a lioness:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6qCLN3 … e=youtu.be

Certainly another weird artefact that needs close examination. Can you imagine how exciting it will be to have a human-passenger rover retrace the steps of our robot rovers...

A good compilation video from Jimmy Roberts:

We really need to get to Mars to investigate these intriguing anomalies.

New find: The Jug of Mars!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucy8boYwSeQ

Pretty persuasive I would say. If it was photograph of an object on Earth I think you would say "jug" before you say "rock". smile

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

This one, from Art Alien TV, requires a longer and more subtle look but I think there might be something to this. It does seem to resemble some sort of floating vessel. It looks highly anomalous within the surrounding landscape in terms of reflectivity and does appear to be broken at one end (the prow?).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9KJbYrnT_A&t=163s

Of course if there were oceans on Mars (there were) and there was a civilisation (possibly), we should fully expect to find various types of seacraft exposed on the surface once the oceans were gone, especially if there had been a planet-wide catastrophe.

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

100 Mars Anomalies - wonderful video from Martian Archaeology.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWOZhXkQeW0

Some old favourites, some new ones unfamiliar to me.  I'd personally put No. 3 at No. 1!

There are many other anomalies I've seen on other sites, particularly Art Alien TV which don't appear in this top 100 including the fence post, the bell and the "monkey on the mobile phone".

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

I do not think mars as being wierd as to when aliens could have found a near habitable plant in our distant past that with not knowing that earth was also a better chioce in its future one would settle for the first that you would come upon to land on. Remeber afer such a long journey anything that you could walk on was your new home. A place to build, learn to survive and to set up roots. Forgetting all about ones own place that you came from. We will only know more once we can put mans footprints on its surface.

An owl statue?  Hmmm...who knows?! But it's definitely a very interesting and unusual artefact.

And after the owl, the lizard?

It's worth viewing this to the end...there is definitely something rather odd going on there.

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

Further to the video below, while Joe White thinks the round object is not part of the "lizard", the odd thing is that lizards do have round ears and , in relation to the "eye" on the "lizard", that's exactly where you would expect to find a lizard's round ear! Here's an image showing what I mean...

https://image.shutterstock.com/image-ph … 499219.jpg

So, pretty remarkable coincidence there! Something looking like some sort of lizard with an "eye" and "ear" in the place you'd expect to find them. Sadly no sign of the tongue...

Maybe it's just an unusual rock but once again we have lots of coincidences.

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

Some more amazing finds by Joe White that definitely need investigating.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e78vnqOhDGU

To those too eager to shout "pareidolia" thinking "those features are way too irregular to belong to a humanoid creature...take a look at this (Otzi the Ice Man):

https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/757 … 3d-printed

And that's after only 5000 years of being freeze dried. Any freeze dried specimens on Mars might have been there for millions of years.

So, that is why I keep an open mind. There seem to be a preponderance of "unusal" rocks on Mars, by Earth standards. I'd like us to get to Mars as soon as possible to discover whether this is some quirk of geomorphology on Mars (e.g. due to low gravity and lack of wind force perhaps) or whether they are in many cases what they look like.

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

Maybe the moral of the story here is not to believe all the crap you see on Youtube!  You have no way of verifying the provenance of what you are seeing.  And as I have said before, wanting something to be true, does not make it so.

"Plan and prepare for every possibility, and you will never act. It is nobler to have courage as we stumble into half the things we fear than to analyse every possible obstacle and begin nothing. Great things are achieved by embracing great dangers."

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

Not true - Joe White of Art Alien TV always posts a link to the NASA/JPL website, so you can verify that when he captions a pic as "Raw Image" he is being accurate. I've always found him to be reliable. As for enhanced images, some are simply removing the orange filter that NASA in its wisdom applies to the photos - never understood why. Of course there are different types of "enhancement" and sometimes enhanced images will border on "artist's illustration".

Anyway here's the latest from Joe White:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW2oDuX2_pY&t=698s

I think he makes a good case for this being a skull...certainly another find that needs investigating.

Re: The weirdness of Mars...

Another brilliant find by Joe White of Art Alien TV:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdAvZwP3piQ

He thinks it could be a fresco.

Must say, I haven't seen anything that looks like this on Mars before, so whatever it might be, it is a very interesting find.

Working on the fresco premise, I saw there a faint resemblance to the Ancient Egyptian depiction of Nebamun hunting in the marshes.
