Americans stationed on Mars on this Sol will (quite likely) celebrate the 4th of July on Earth. 

The daily news feed from Earth will (most likely) include video of events in various cities on Earth.

Depending on the size of the group, it is possible the cuisine will be adjusted in a gesture toward the Americans in the group.

Soon we will mark the moon landing 50th anniversary but would anyone on Mars even give a care when they will want there own Mars landing by Humans to have the top notch on th pole of Human accomplishments?
