This is the city to city people transporter system using a single stage rocket that can auto land at the destination the same as a first stage Falcon 9....so its close to or is a sub orbital flight plan....

That forms a large part of the video but I think it begins with a general consideration of the BFR, in particular its ability to transport 100 people from Earth to Mars (it's referring to sleeping accommodation which you wouldn't need for a less-than-an-hour E2E* flight).

E2E = Earth to Earth.
