In a news article on www.spacenews.com, it was announced that SpaceX was successful in raising $351 million in new capital.
Equidate, a San Francisco based firm specializing in funding of privately held ventures, as well as publishing financial information on them, stated that SpaceX had recently closed a $351 million funding round. This was also reported in the New York Times in an article on Equidate.

Equidate also released it's estimated valuation of SpaceX at $21.2 Billion, which makes SpaceX one of the most valuable privately held companies.
