Beyond Van Allen Belt

True, the New Hermes Space Truck from "The Martian" is the way to go.

We've seen not one experiment where actual human tissue is monitored..
   OUTSIDE THE VAN ALLEN BELT.

Would prove a worthy endeavor for advances in "Rad Hardening Tissue Repair"

Re: Beyond Van Allen Belt

The Van Allen belts are a collection of charged particles, gathered in place by Earth's magnetic field. They can wax and wane in response to incoming energy from the sun, sometimes swelling up enough to expose satellites in low-Earth orbit to damaging radiation.

Re: Beyond Van Allen Belt

This topic has been idle since 2017

I was looking to see if there are any topics that cover the Van Allen Belt....

The title of ** this ** topic appears to be about the region of space beyond the Van Allen Belt, so it is not a good match for the post I'm planning.

Never-the-less, the region outside the Van Allen Belt is large, and the topic may provide an anchor for discussion about ** that ** region at some point.
