The Martian by Andy Weir

Andy Weir has published an interesting novel called The Martian, whose story takes place on Mars.

You can go to Andy Weir's website, and you'll see the link for it about half-way down the page:

Read it and post your opinions. A lot of people have said they've enjoyed it.

Re: The Martian by Andy Weir

I hear its now being made into a movie, which will come out next year.
So what advice would you give the movie producers.
I think they should use this as a guideline for astronauts walking on Mars.

Notice that the gate is quicker on Mars walks than on Moon walks. The producers of the movie should strive to get the walking right, they have all sorts of CGI to make that happen.
