No, Jupiter would no doubt be as Observable as it is from its Orbit, since the Earth would (probably) be a moon.

Not really this is how Jupiter would look like at 0,8 AU. Earths orbit would no doubt be perturbed (even Mars does that) but not enough to be captured by Jupiter.
Note that this is around the closest aproach they could be as far as 2 AU apart. So it would grow and shrink noticeable

That would be cool 
Imnagine this:
Sun, saturn, jupiter, earth, venus, neptune, uranus, mars, pluto.
Solar system wouldn't be anything liike it is today, but venus would probably be semi-habitable.

Of course, it would depend on how far away each of the planets were. Jupiters moons might be habitable.
