Take a look at this article!

If Mars temp. is rising, the planet might get the hard bit of Terraforming done for us. Then we need to import buffer gas (the other hard part), convert enough of the CO2 into O2 for higher plants, and we're, well on our way to having Earth MkII!

Same descusion in Terraforming with a Broom; Heating Mars by Changing Its Albedo. for the most part
and by chance we may see some of the effect of a strike by Asteroid has a chance to strike Mars

don't you need a 5* temperature rise to get to an atmosphered mars?
