NASA may have removed this one or I wrote the number down wrong. A lot of the objects they just take the images down and blurr them more. Not sure about this one. I have it marked as PIA06917.

It came from Mars. I got it off this site:
They colorize the mars pics. I've seen this particular image in its red format on the regular NASA site.

Yep, those are false color images processed from the MER Spirit
Shapes are everywhere in the physical world. Which shapes are "strange" and which are not is a subjective judgement.
