The Vice President has been filling a leadership role in Space Exploration since Lyndon Johnson set the precedent.

I will definitely be interested in learning how VP Harris handles this additional responsibility, although I have much greater positive expectations than you've expressed in your opening post.

She already has a heavy work load.  I hope she hires / enlists people with the appropriate background and qualifications to advise her.

Maybe because she is full of **** like this: 'VP wants more diversity in the National Space Council’s industry advisory group'.

So basically, no real leadership or vision at all.  Her main priority is to put more black people in the advisory group.  So selection for that group will now be made on the basis of skin colour, rather than meaningful contribution.  What a waste of oxygen that woman is.

Let's impose artificial restrictions on our own behavior that our enemies will never impose on themselves.  What a brilliant military strategy.  I guess we never thought of that.  Apparently, neither did any other person with more than a day of military training, because it's so profoundly stupid.

Current ISS before its dumped into the ocean seems to be 2030 at present. Many modules are quite old but many are young still to make them into something new.
