Re: Hello - New here

Hello everyone! I was directed here by the Mars Society Website that I went to because of Space.Com's "Eyes on Mars" DVD.

Mars is where I hope to be one day, and if I don't get to put foot on the planet, I hope to help build something that does.

A few more years of school, and I hope to make it!

Anyway, I hope to have fun here.

Beunos Dias (Did I spell that right?), Apollo! Welcome to the forums. However, to be truly accepted you must now start a topic sparking some huge scientific/technological discussion nine out of ten Americans couldn't/wouldn't understand. I suggest you do so in "Life on Mars" or "Human Missions", or some other category. Fortuantely it's not as hard as it sounds around here, it's a smart group.

Re: Hello - New here

Martian Apollo, looks like you joined on a fateful day! As you have probably read by now, the Bush legislation is to announce plans to send people to Mars!

So, your dreams of working towards that goal could be closer than you think!

i hope you have fun here, too!

So! You wanna go to Mars, eh?
Well, it looks like you'll be in very good company here, Martian Apollo!

A warm welcome to you ... you've come to the right place.

Re: Hello - New here

Thanks very much everyone. Mars is a fascinating place. I hope we make it in my lifetime, and I am only 27!
