Crew Dragon - Humans to ISS - launch 27 May

Something to look forward to, fingers crossed.

Great that this money channel is coming on stream for Space X. Could prove very handy.

America's almost back in the game.

I really, really hope they bring the Lunar flyby back. Tell Trump it will flex on China. We haven't been out of LEO for nearly 50 years.

Re: Crew Dragon - Humans to ISS - launch 27 May

This topic seems like a good fit for the announcement that the capsule that will bring two astronauts back to Earth is ready for launch today:

https://www.spacedaily.com/reports/Spac … h_999.html

There are numerous versions of this report available.

Launch is planned for 7:48 PM EST as of this report.

Update: the launch was scrubbed ... the comments at the time said something about "hydraulic release"

As of 20:00 EST, the crew is out of the capsule and taking stairs down to elevators.
