Forgetting to visit the home page your not alone

I forget that we have articles being posted to the home page and almost missed the lunar mars direct article using the space x flacon heavy.

Will create a new topic in human to discuss it in.

Added comments here in this topic for how we can make this change...

Its important have a place on the forum banner header that indicates when an article is posted...

SpaceX's Falcon Heavy is the only real interplanetary class rocket we (we meaning all of humanity, at present) have.  We can talk about going places and doing things or we can just do it and talk about what we did afterwards.  I'm in favor of the latter course of action.  Maybe we can convince enough of a contingent from NASA who are similarly interested to get the ball rolling while SLS and BFR are being built.

Re: Forgetting to visit the home page your not alone

We have more that are unmanned for capable rockets but only to a point where we need spirals and slingshot menuveurs to make things happen.

I do feel that we are in a horse race for a manned capable capsule with Orion, Dragon V2, Starliner, Dreamchaser(spacePlane) with all striving for LEO first in a taxi mode.

After that a more capable service module or modules which are required for each to actually achieve something beyond LEO stays that are over a 10 to 14 day period of crew being onboard.

Now beyond the promised lift capability and any others that would go with a newly design rocket unmanned Falcon 9 Heavy is at the top of the list.

Manned lift capability Space x may be closest if Nasa keeps slumping behind with delays for SLS whish is followed by the Dreamchaser and Starliner ULA lifts but these are not a heavy lift.
