*Um yeah...I'd have to agree.  It's amusing to read that one person in particular, puffing up his chest and blah blah blah about the Americans this, the Americans that (as if we're jealous of them and insecure somehow -- keep projecting, buddy), all the best scientists in the U.S. are Chinese, etc., etc. 

I'd like to call him out for some *names*.  Maybe he's right, but I'd like some names.

I'm happy for their recent accomplishment...but heck, the Russians and we did it 40 years ago.  And no one else has yet landed people on the moon after we did it.

Oh well...let them talk.  Maybe they'll be the first on Mars and THEN it can be rightfully implied that the U.S. might then be insecure and jealous.    But not until then.  They have yet another major milestone to *meet* us at.

I'm not sure if it's the unfounded prideful boasting, the absurd claims or just the bad English but its worth some laughs.

Like this nugget.

...who bought it from the Russians, who copied half the systems from us!

Yeah, go on, try for the moon. You'll find an old American flag and some trash there waiting for you. Hopefully they'll find American cities when they get to Mars, if we get our act together.

Uh! Oh!

First I find myself in agreement with clark, and now, I agree with Cobra!

The best golfer is black, the best rapper is white, the Swiss win the America's Cup and Bill agrees with BOTH clark and Cobra. Maybe we will get to Mars sooner than I'd been thinking. . .
