I'm looking for artwork or picture for a SF Book based on Mars.  It is somewhat low budget so there would be no $$.  The picture would have to be yours since I don't want to break any copyright laws.  Thanks.

NASA images are not copyrighted and there are plenty of superb ones to choose from ... commerical use is possible too guidelines here

Wikipedia also have a lot of public domain images that you should be able to use.

Thanks so much for the information.  Nothing is more striking then some of the pictures of Mars against the darkness of space!
