*Unfortunately this comet is dim and large 'scopes are required to see it. Current magnitude is 12.5 (unaided-eye limit is 6.0). It's out of my 'scope's grasp unfortunately.
Eridanus is a winter constellation and the autumn constellations are just now on the rise in early evenings, so this is a "red eye" endeavor, probably 3:00 a.m.-ish to pre-dawn (my guess). I wish the sky map were larger, to see just whereabouts (beneath, of course) Orion it is. Eridanus ("The River") is a rather long and winding constellation (makes sense, huh? Lol).
Good luck.
