Re: SimEarth 2 - Would you play it?

If a new versin of sim earth came out would you play it?
The first one was a fun game, but come pare to what is out there now it is primitive. I think that Maxis should come out with an up dated one. Sim Earth 2, with all the new computer we have a game that could simulated earth, mars or other worlds would be a cool game.
I think that people should start writing to maxis about an up dated sim earth game.
It about time we had a new one.

Re: SimEarth 2 - Would you play it?

Hate to break it to ya, but other than The Sims people, Maxis software as the entity that made SimEarth doesn't really exsist anymore... swallowed up and disolved inside the megacorperation called Electronic Arts.

Huzzah, just like Origin, Looking Glass and a bunch of other great studios that made games I loved at one point, Maxis is yet another casualty of EA and it's moronic business practices.  I swear, running good game companies into the ground must be part of their corporate motto..
