*Wow. Amateur astronomers have cachet like never before, thanks to big scopes and accessories being more affordable these days.
Good news as well for northern hemisphere viewers: "its motion across the sky will turn sharply northward, making the comet well positioned for Northern Hemisphere observers by year's end. Marsden's orbit suggests that the comet could brighten to naked-eye visibility in early January — just as it glides right by the Pleiades..."
If it does get to that brightness, even binoculars should provide a wonderful view of it. :up:
