Jeff Bezos, of Amazon.com fame, is going into the private human spaceflight industry - backed by his $1.7 billion fortune. Along with Burt Rutan and John Carmack, all three have significant sources of private funds behind them, no shareholders to account to, limitless ambitious and a great deal of skill.

I think we're in for some interesting times...

Maybe he and Elon Musk can get together on Mars.

Gee Polamar such an old topic with little followup on the hows how but I am sure that a search on a name will find many newer topics to which Blue Horizon is pusing sub orbital flights amd hopefully Bezos investment in making the replacement for Atlas V will making a bit of competition for Space X....and of course continue to shame Nasa....
