Anyway its about extracting gas from a lake in a central african country that is produced by a microbe called: "archaea"

That microbe takes CO2 out of the water (plenty of that on Mars) for oxygen and produces methane as a byproduct. Well nuclear energy is still cheaper and easier to implement on Mars but this microbe could help with the terraforming of Mars and at the same time deliver energy.
