Re: Can aliens exist on planets orbiting pulsars? - Can aliens existonplanetsorbitingpulsars

I know that planets have been detected orbiting around pulsars and I wonder if aliens could exist there. I know that extremophiles have been detected on places that were once thought to be inhospitable to life. Could they exist on planets that orbit stars that emit bursts of radiation every two seconds?

Maybe not all planets are like that. Can terrestrial planets exist orbiting pulsars?

What about life based on silicon, instead of carbon? Lower energy, for sure - but they'll be in a high energy environment.
