Re: Astronautix.com - Available on CD-Rom

Yesterday I ordered Mark Wade's "Encyclopedia Astronautica" on CD-ROM - apparently its the whole website. It cost me $14.00 USD plus $3.50 for shipping & handling, unless they run out of disks.

If anyone has not been to www.astronautix.com try it out.

This is where folks like RDyck can get good information on things like throw weights to 200 km LEO at 61 degrees inclination for an Energia-M.

My hope is that I can "surf" the CD at higher access speeds than I can surf the website even with my POS DSL line.

BTW, POS = Piece of S**t

Dial-up? Buy the disk, dude.
