Re: 112 Gripes about the French - Those annoying French...

I guess the thing which might 'bug' the USA is the European Arrogance, the socialism commentary of France and Sweden which might have once insisted they had the best systems at one time almost seemed to be progressing to a Utopia type society but now terror attacks and unrest, less freedoms and they are unsure of their own future.

You might try count the US as an 'Empire' but it is unlike past Empires, you might say the US was born in the rebellion of 1776. The whole thing about the USA is it is unique allowing speech and a person having arms to defend their property, I don't know how far the USA will last into the future but you have to respect its staying power 250 + years.

France might soon have unrest and revolution for the Sixth Time and soon be in its 6th Republic

As for rockets delivering explorating payload and satellites, they have no independence in Europe now, ESA will buy from US Company Space-X or perhaps as for other rockets, Spain or Germany might be able to step up but not for sometime. There is nothing re-usable yet and launch service for the size of the Soyuz, the Ariane and bigger is still needed.

Soyuz is banned, before the Putin invasion of Ukraine the Russians were providing medium-size launch capability for Arianespace at the French colony in South America

the roles of religion on Mars? Macron out of his control is watching development of a new Unitary radical authoritarian revolutionary republic a Napoleon style Constitutional Church

'Civitas', also known as France Jeunesse Civitas and Institut Civitas, a Rightwing Traditionalist Catholic, integrist and nationalist party?

Civitas publishes a quarterly review entitled Civitas – Revue catholique des questions politiques et sociales ("Civitas – Catholic review of political and social questions"). It publishes news about the movement, and analyses the major political themes of the day. In year 2012, Civitas organised a march from the Ministry of the Family to the Assemblée Nationale, demonstrating against the policy of "Marriage for all"; according to police sources, nearly 8,000 people marched against "homofolie" ("gay madness")

Looks like they wanted to ban islamist jihadis but also Hinduism, Jews and Buddhism and everything else that was 'Non Catholic' classed as something worse than 'Proud Boys' and classed as a "conspiracy" group

The Emperor of France would like to be Emperor of Mars?
