Land Sailing Sail on Land Wind driven transport
The wind has been powering transportation for humans (and all other creatures on Earth) for a long time.
This topic is offered for NewMars members who might want to contribute links, images or text in support of the concept of harnessing wind to move goods on land.
The application I have in mind is moving excess fresh water from the US Southeast to the US Southwest by way of a northern point to which sailing into the wind is most advantageous.
