We only had one topic containing the word "religion" and it did not seem a good fit for the report that I'm using to launch this topic.
Whether we want it or not, religion is likely to make it's way into the milieu on Mars.
The report at the link below is a serious study of religions on Earth. I was surprised to learn the populations who claim adherence to various faiths.
A key finding is that religions grow almost entirely by population growth, and that conversions are few in comparison.

In the past we've had instances of members venting about one religion or another, and i would ask that such posts be confined to the Chat Category which already has a topic set up for such items.
It seems to me that a reasonable strategy for folks planning to set up shop on Mars is to plan for multiple religions to be present, and to make mental and emotional adjustments so that everyone can put up with one another.
However, if you want ** your ** religion to be more populous than the others, you are going to have to persuade your families to have more children than the competition.
