In the last post I supposed that it could be possible to have a low pressure on the tops of the shield volcano's and yet an increased pressure in the lowlands, sufficient to allow some kind of liquid water mostly under ice.

So, with such a terraform method it may stand true that it may be possible to source materials from the surface of Mars to orbit.  Possible methods include rockets, Mass Drivers, and Skyhooks.  Perhaps combinations of those.

I might suppose canisters of Parafin Wax as a possible cargo to send to orbit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraffin_wax (Chemical formula    CnH2n+2).  Exactly what a stony asteroid is not.  The moons of Mars may contain some Carbon and Hydrogen, but it is not proven at all at this point.  There could be a lot of uses of Paraffin Wax.

I suspect that Paraffin Wax in metal drums might be somehow tossed by various means.  The wax could be preconditioned by temperature to have rigidity.  Also, perhaps fibers could be included to increase strength.  So, maybe able to endure high accelerations when treated correctly with included fibers, and also temperature.

Policing Terrestrial Crossing Asteroids is a good insurance policy for the human race.  Drums of Paraffin Wax may assist.

, it may be possible to pluck asteroids out of the belt and then with means of control direct them to park in orbits of the planets, perhaps not just Mars.  It may be possible to build Rung worlds around Mercury and Venus, maybe Earth/Moon, but that would be a thing where you would want to be certain of your abilities.

One idea would be to harvest these asteroids to other world, by sending Paraffin Wax to them and then transforming them into devices that could be directed to desired locations.  More of these asteroids will be stony than of other types so Paraffin Wax, may be useful in the accessing of them.

One destination could be Mars orbits, so as to build a Rung World system in orbit.  It may be that the excess Oxygen from them may be dropped into the atmosphere of Mars.  Some use of gravity assists may help to assist in getting them to Mars, but also it can be understood that various other means of propulsion can be used, such as Oxygen Mass Driver, other Mass Driver, Neumann Drive (Perhaps), Solar Wind, and Photon Sails.

And some could be used to create cycling spaceships as well.

Some cyclers might be of a nature that you could park them into a Martian orbit, by using navigation and Ballistic Capture.  But then to get them back out to a cycle, would take the cost of propellants.

So, Mars could help protect Earth, by accumulating asteroid moons, and the materials from those could help to build a Rung World around Mars, and also to increase the atmosphere of Mars.

I have a notion about what some aliens might do, and what humans might do.

I have once seen it in a SciFi, sort of.  Imposing radiation on a life form to induce evolution to get some outcome.  Somehow being able to accelerate the process.

I don't necessarily follow that exact path, but it is an interesting thing.  First, what I think some aliens might do, and then what we might do.

To promote or discover a random outcome from an imposed circumstance, or to simply find alien life.

I know the argument that Aliens would almost certainly not have the same information code for their pattern replication methods, but to see what another creature has done, then you might adapt it to your own information code if possible.

But humans with multiple rung worlds could do similar experiments.
Ladder worlds is an example.  Umm.........I guess a "Rung World".

This would offer many options:
-Recreate Australia, without invasive species, Placental Mammals.
-Experiment on life from another world, if it is microbial in nature.
-Try to simulate an environment that may exist or could have or could someday exist.  Perhaps based on an Exoplanet that is existing.
-Stimulate the evolution of extreme life forms.  For instance, Cyanobacteria in some cases can live at a pressure of 50 mbar, could it evolve to work with an even lower pressure.

So, an experiment could involve an environment at -13 degrees C, but has sunlight, to perhaps simulate a possible environment sometime somewhere.  You might introduce or revive photosynthesis in some of the organisms.

1010 / 2.2128 = 0.00219 bar???

So, then if productive, a very reduced cost farm method.  Perhaps also including radiation tolerance by strong and fast repair mechanisms.

I think that we could get to a high productivity without going to such extremes.

But actually, it could be that on some worlds terraformed could end up with very cold open water that such life might be able to grow in.

Most notions about Aliens have already been written somewhere.  The one where they do a "Gary Seven" is of interest.

Because of environmental concerns Aliens would very likely get samples of a useful organism and use them to interact with the planet of their origin.  And this could be educational, and entertainment, and even perhaps satisfy something like parental-like emotion.

If you can get infinite food and other satisfactions of needs, then the idea of Aliens that want to eat us or take our water, or whatever, seems like us projecting our primitive urges onto the concept of Aliens.

Also, I wonder why the Aliens are nudists and do not have reproductive organs?  Wouldn't they want at least some PPE?  Personal Protective  Equipment.
