Another day, and not much, but this is fascinating...
0554MR0022460320303929E01_D
Looks like a pyramid of some kind, but probably just dirt, (right) in this reflective rock?
And on the left hand side, we have this thing, that took me a while to figure out, but l believe that it is a dust devil moving in a left to right direction, (the dust it is throwing up is on the left of this.
And you may also notice that this one is creating an impression on the surface, since it is has enough power to churn up the surrounding soil.
Yeah, another nail in the supposed NASA air pressure.
It is good that Curiosity weights a ton.
Well the spoons look like they are levitating as I can see shadow under them so supernatural forces are at work.....
Lol,
The conspiracy theorists will probably say the NASA made it fall in a heap.
Maybe, but there is far more compelling stuff on Mars than that!
Yes, very likely. But a geologist friend of mine, a pretty experienced one who has been all round the world, said he'd never seen anything like that on Earth. Mars geology is clearly quite distinct from Earth's probably because of the low gravity and absence of strong winds or (generally) surface water.

How do you explain those?
I would love to say that that is alien spoons or bones, but it is more likely hardened mineral deposits.
Or it has been protected by the sand, and will fall in a heap, in the near future.

Needs to be revealed before September 23rd as that will be the end of this world (so say some people, apparently) and therefore there will be nobody around to receive the revelation.
No, the big announcement will be in the year 2033, so the world won't end before then.
One of the problems with color photography from these probes and rovers is that the color is synthetic. It is fundamentally done as "black-and-white" through 3 visible wavelength filters, which when these 3 signals are recombined, create "synthetic" or "false" color. What you get is all about which signal gets its gain turned up, and by how much.
Depending upon what it is you really want to see, you turn the gains on these signals up and down by whatever makes your intended objective stand out in the image. That has everything to do with color contrast and almost nothing to do with "true color". It's actually quite the common imaging technique, and not just for space probes. It can also be quite deceiving.
I remember this effect during Viking, and we have run into it ever since, and at every planet or moon yet visited. We got some very strange results from Mars until they finally made the painted flag on the Viking spacecraft look "right".
Even then, it wasn't the same from day to day. The truth is that the Martian sky on a dust-free day tends toward an Earthly-looking blue, while if there is any dust in the air (and there often is), it looks much redder, and more alien-looking. The dust is almost exclusively red rock dust, very fine. Rock flour, as a matter of fact.
One of the problems is just how thin Martian air really is. It's first cousin to the vacuum of deep space, at only 0.6 to 0.7% of Earth-normal pressure at the two Viking sites. That makes the Earthly appearances on blue-sky days very deceiving indeed. Only rock flour can fly in air that thin, and often it does not extend all the way up through the Martian atmosphere. Although it can. And has.
GW
True, to a point, but if NASA wants to cover up Mars being Earth like, then they will go all the way.
Meaning that the air pressure is not what they claim, if it was then we would see, near black sky, (like on the moon) and also not see so much water on the surface, or so much water on the surface that rain is a strong possibility, (you can't have very salty rain).
And Mars temp,s, more of the same, you cannot have rovers with exposed solar panels, (which are not heated, l researched it) exposed to almost minus 200c, at night a few times a week, without the silicon fracturing.
Silicon fractures at minus 40, so the two rovers if NASA is not lying should be immobile after a week, and definitely immobile after a month or two.
But both went for 10+ years each.
Then we have the solar panels being cleaned by dust devils on Mars, which should not occur if the air pressure is what they claim, but NASA makes up that these dust devils are static electricity charged, or some such BS.
No people will believe in whatever NASA says, eventhough some of it is dumb, or full of holes.
Or some don't want to believe that Mars is our twin, (minus the oceans, more of less) and certainly don't want to believe that it has an advanced civilization on its surface.
They are spoon feeding us the evidence now, while denying it all, but one day soon, it will be fully disclosed.
Ok, another real look at Mars.
0554MR0022460250303922E01_D
Blue mountains and blue/white sky, looks like a typical scene from Earth.
My understanding is that Mars sky is salmon pink near the horizon, fading to dark blue straight up. And becomes pale blue at sunset. So depends where you look.
Taken by Curiosity rover in morning twilight on August 31, 2012.

Ok, good to see a yellow/orange sunrise, Finally, since all of the rocks l have seen over the years show, yellow/orange sunsets.
Salmon pink, no...
2004, Spirit, Opp, press release.
Viking images.
Ok, another one, l would love to say that the top one is a weird, abondoned car, but it is Curiosity's reflection.
But the lower image, whatever this is it is sticking out of the ground a fair way, so mineral deposits or something else.

This weekend is the annual Convention. One talk this afternoon was "Practical Color Calibration for Mars Surface Images". I thought you may be interested. The speaker's website is http://areo.info/
Thanks for that, but there isn't any mystery around this, l have discussed this at length on another forum with about 5 numbskulls, that came up with one reason after another that Mars sky is a b***ch to get right.
Eventhough Venus with crippling pressures, and intense heat, has no problems or Saturns, moon also had no problems with getting the colors right when the probe landed there., eventhough the atmosphere is much thicker than ours and we have never been there before.
And some more excuses why, it is hard to do, (that don't stack up when analyzed).
And Hubble keeps showing us blue atmosphere for Mars, eventhough most NASA images show little atmosphere and red if they do.
No, if you run through all available evidence, then it is obvious that NASA is covering up that Vikings first images, of blue sky, green rocks and organic material in the soil were genuine, it has been BS ever since.
0554MR0022460170303914E01_D
Another rock reflecting back to us, a yellow sun, not the red/orange BS one, (yellow is even present on their false color one).
0554MR0022460190303916E01_D
And another reflective rock showing a blue sky, dark blue hills and green landscape or rocks, (all three which are Not supposed to be there).
Kinda hit the mini jackpot today!
0554MR0022460130303910E01_D
First one is this silver arch, or probably an entry to the structures on the left, (well, l am speculating that they are structures). But the arch looks like a slam dunk.
0554MR0022460150303912E01_D
Second shows Curiosity's wheel on the left, hard to see, but it is there, (the reflection).
Then we have what may be a structure in the middle, and then we have this very reflective ball on the right, which certainly is Not, the rovers reflection or natural, (eventhough mineral deposits might do likewise, but unlikely).
Considering this is a few km's away, artificial structure is more likely.
And you may note that the sun being reflected back to us, (on the left) is whitish, or what we would see on a clear, sunny day on Earth.
According to NASA we are only supposed to get blue sky, white sun at sunset, not during the day, (going by shadows on rocks).
So much for NASA data.
Talk about faces on Mars, check this one out.
0554MR0022460100303907E01_D
The things further down, don't look natural either.
But a face carved into a rock, which is blowing something out of it's mouth, nah, this one is legit.
0554MR0022460070303904E01_D
More roads, and more structures looking like bridges.
0554MR0022460040303901E01_D
And this, looks like someone drawed some lines in the sand?
And put a square hole in the rock, (the white depiction on the right, hard to say, a sun depiction perhaps, but probably not Curiosity).
Regarding the crab-spider thing...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKNLxirM7PA
Interesting to read the comments...even the sceptics seem hard pushed to come up with an explanation.
I agree with the comment that says of all the things photographed on Mars, this is the one seriously puzzling phenomenon that can't be argued away as "just a rock".
And the rock that wasn't in one Curiosity image and was there the next day, was another that cannot be explained away, eventhough NASA came up with a lame reason that skeptics bought.
Yes, "Just a blurry Rock" is a line l hear constantly, (with a few f*** words thrown in by the mentally challenged) but in the end, rocks cannot explain what l and others have found, Mars has more to it than that.
nOt with the brine levels that we have seen , can the video link be posted for all to see and a gps location for where on mars....
Sure, here is the one with the house, and a pretty good looking Egyptian vase, (the straight lines on the lid are pretty hard to dismiss).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDKyQ5FNrT8
And the one with the puddle, 2.54 in...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rRlZjFltTY
Unfortunately l have not come across these ones yet, so contacting the TY poster or dropping down the more information part is all l can offer.
That does look like muddy water. If it was wind-blown dust you would expect streaks, slow taper of dust to rocky terrain. This has a level edge that looks like liquid settling in planetary gravity.
And you would expect dust and dirt to be over it also, good to know that we can get some decent images occasionally.
Unfortunately reflections, are too hard to see in this.
Ok, Robert good points, impossible to say if a technician goofed and made it look like rubble, or not.
Ok, did some searching and found that others have been sniffing about..
One person claimed to find a house, but it wasn't.
And this person found a pretty good image of Martain water or probably muddy or silty sludge.
Nasa image, sorry no number since this was taken from a video image, but it did come from Curiosity, so l will post the number if l come across it again.
And the true color one, so we can get a better look at it.
I've been looking at quite a few Mars anomaly pics recently... while most can be dismissed as pareidolia there are a few which are more difficult to reject in that way.
I think my favourite is definitely the spider-crab in the recess.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ … laims.html
I haven't seen a good explanation of this image, apart from it being possibly a fossil or real living creature.
"Face on Mars" has I think been debunked as an optical illusion from a pretty primitive resolution photo.
Yes, interesting and has the hint of non-natural to it.
True, a lot of images, especially the Youtube ones, unfortunately do have a lot of this rock is an animal or this squarish rock is a brick.
I tend to be as concerning as possible.
Thankyou for your comment.

The nasa attempt to debunk https://science.nasa.gov/science-news/s … st24may_1/
Viking 1 mission returned photos of the Martian surface in 1976, the image of a rocky face in the Cydonia region captured the public eye as it circled the red planet in search of a landing site for its sister ship, Viking 2, it snapped photos of Mars for engineers at NASA to study. On July 25, 1976, it captured the image of a pile of rocks that greatly resembled a human face. When NASA released the photograph almost a week later, they described it as a "huge rock formation in the center [of the photo], which resembled a human head."
Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and the European Space Agency's Mars Express revealed that original analysis is an optical illusion revealed only as the light hits the surface and wells of the rocks at specific angles.
I like the possibility whether its real or not just get some boots on the surface and lets be sure.....
But the thing to remember is that the original one above had a lot of height, (quarter of a mile high l think) and recent images of the face show rubble considerably shorter than the face, or rubble, etc.
Which adds, credence to tampering.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux9sAws8lSE
Interesting video especially what they say about the face on mars.
NASA went rampant with the Photoshop filters so the modern view of the face looks like rubble.
Eventhough the original image had substantial height.
Just finished a round with another forum about all of this, and let's just say l am glad it is over, and stupidity really is infinite.
Ok, more structures, that Curiosity ignores.
0552ML0022350050204436E01_D
The Gray Statue depiction is the most obvious, and too far away for it to be Curiosity.
Below the statue is water flowing out into a stream, (blue color, and glistening).
And behind this statue is more Alien depictions, striped neck, etc.
0552ML0022340180204430E01_D
Another likely water hole, most likely full of fresh water, and some artificial can of some kind nearby, (the pattern curves around the cylinder perfectly).
0552ML0022350000204431E01_D
More signs of water flow with the water carving out a trough in the dirt above, (virtually impossible for wind to do this) and traces of flow below.
Same image as above one...
This shows s hint of something that l long suspected, Mars has sunsets like we do on Earth or red/orange/yellow sunsets.
The blue hills are in the distance, then Curiosity in the foreground, but the shadows on the rocks also show the sun is setting. And also show a yellow tinge on parts of the rover, (arrows) (see previous image, Curiosity does not have yellow coloration).
Yeah, NASA, maybe they should name their next mars rover, Coverup?
Darnit, l guess that this isn't a curious alien, but Curiosity's camera turrent being distorted and reflected back
This is from an image above.
Sigh.
Another pretty weird one.
0552ML0022340090204421E01_D
And clearly artificial.
This tower appears to be on a base, above the ground. And l don't consider this to be Curiosity's reflection as the background landscape is visible just below the tinted window.
Too hard to make out other structures around this, eventhough likely.
But yep, alien, artificial and Curiosity drives right past it.
