I like your ideas but couldnt the sides be v shaped so to farm as the incas did You ll have to pardon me but I like the thought K.I.S.S ( keep it simple , keep it stupid ) now I wonder how big Bamboo would get in the low gravity as it would be a good idea to grow some we have been using it for centurys in many various ways . Also american indians have built in the sides of canyons for a long time

I just joined today and had similar questions about using a cayon or gourge this topic answered alot but couldnt you terrace plants like the incas did? I also thought a temperoy fix would be to use sand to make glass and use that to top the gorgue and I like the layer of water to help with cosmic radiation plus it would also be an instant hole patch only problem is it would freeze at curant temps

Now I not college matreial so Im putting out my Questions .Im a Firm beliver of K.I.S.S. ( keep it simple , keep it stupid )My first question is why couldnt the colonies use small cayons to build in and simple supply a transparent roof like made of local sourced sand or glass and terrace like the incas for food and oxygen production? As to oxygen grow what plant Produces the most oxygen plus grow bamboo 1000 and one uses as we have been using it or centurys. As to heating couldnt someone figure a way to use solar hot water run under the floor for warmth?
I do know the surface is cold but theres got to be away to heat it.
               Just a few thoughts kinda curiuos as to any responces  thank you

now Im just posting ideas I have like what plant produces the most oxygen and use that also will bamboo grow under mars conditions as its very use full and mankind has been using it for centurys

Im not knowable on brick work but couldnt the brick be made inside and then taken out , another question I have is  couldnt you use glass and cover over cervass or canyon  to promote plant growth ?
