The remaining shuttles will make amazing display pieces, especially if they are setup to be interactive. Having a lot of people have the chance to actually touch them or walk above them on walkways could do at least as much for the space program in the future as the have done in the past.

I like this idea the best!  smile

I am excited about this mission.  I think checking out Phobos is a really good idea.  I've always been a big fan of Mar's moons.

Mental torture is also torture

So does that mean we can only thier cells with things that give them happy thoughts? Like butterflys and singing birds and the entrails of a pigdog American infidel?

Its a prison. Get over it.

Darn straight!!

#5 Re: Space Policy » US public opposed to spending money on human Mars missions » 2006-09-25 11:12:53

That is because most people who are polled don't even know what "Mars" is.....

Well, maybe that is wrong, but still, most people are too caught up in what's going on HERE on Earth to understand the importance of getting to Mars.

Still upsetting, however.

I agree.  Talking with Iran about stopping their nuclear program is like talking to a wall.

Thanks!  Good to be here!

I hope I can contribute.

Iran and Syria both could cause a lot of problems if they get nuclear power.  Of course, everyone knows this anyway.

Plus, I wanted to post my first post!  big_smile
