Re: Photon force

BECAUSE the way photons and electrons interact is not governed entirely by classical physics, the Newtonian physics that you so gleefully attack while you base every argument on.

You are just starting to become abnoxious now Errorist

Re: Photon force

I write:

you write:

I’ll make you a deal. You work out the above problems by hand. (Try not to look at the solutions too much). Convince me you understand the solutions to those problems and then I will read that paper if you still want me to. If you don’t even look at those problems then we have nothing to talk about. Surly you can do it. It is only one page and the solutions are provided. You want me to read a 10 page paper.

Re: Photon force

What explaination is there for it then? Why does it happen? How can a smaller mass photon accelerate a larger mass electron to the same velocity? This will increase reaction forces on a spacecraft by a certain ratio. Photon electron mass acceleration ratio??????

Re: Photon force

Long answer: Electrons are also waves, see Shrodinger, DeBroglie

Short answer: You don't know what you are talking about Errorist.

We aren't your personal physics paper translators you know, Errorist. If you can't understand the paper and tell us about it breifly, then how are you going to understand it when we tell you? This is so much different from regular physics that it can't be dumbed down enough to educate you.

Re: Photon force

That wasn't even coherant... I think its time for you to stop posting about things you don't or won't understand Errorist.

Re: Photon force

I have aready forgotten more about physics than you can ever possibly learn in two centennials. You still to this day refuse to tell me how fast a electron or H2 ion will travel when hit by a photon if at rest. Untill you can do that I'll consider your posts usless.

If you have so much knowledge in regards to physics why do you need someone who you have just stated knows less than you to tell you what would happen in a particular situation? Physics is a fascinating subject, but at the end of the day you've really just got to sit down and learn it by yourself the hard way like everyone else. When I come across an equation I can't solve whilst studying physics I don't rush to the web and ask for solutions - I sit down and work it out myself.

Re: Photon force

I have already learned the above statements. That guy disagrees with everyone. I think he is the troll. He is more negative than a negative ion.

Re: Photon force

Mmmmhmmm, "forgotten more physics than you can learn in two centuries," and such... You have continued to disagree with reasoned arguments based on modern physics and even yet peddle and preach your wacky concepts even though they have been debunked, declaring that many a smart person doesn't know what he is talking about.
