Thanks for the link to that (to me ** very **) interesting report on some remarkable research. The independent arrival at the same point, in labs 2000 miles apart, ** really ** makes the discovery impressive.
I liked the hint that it appears that more of our DNA that was thought to be junk may be just waiting for the right circumstances to put back into use.

And again tissue damage repairs is a skill we should want. Damage from ageing is also damage we should want to repair.

Then perhaps with greater wealth, more children, maybe even artificial wombs, since lots of women don't want to be women. Not a criticism, just an observation. Yes, men messed up as well? Sure, that's true also.
