The Constitution Party is ... anti-free trade

Cindy,

This was a erroneous quote.  The Constitution Party is VERY much for free trade.  They are against the "Free Trade Agreements" which is any but "FREE TRADE."  It is regulated trade by international intities which do not have the United States in their best interests.  In fact, if you look at what is happening through the regulation brought about by these trade agreements such as NAFTA & CAFTA, you will see that it is pretty much the rest of the world against the United States.

Further, through these agreements, they guarentee to leave our borders wide open as a portion of the regulation of CAFTA in order to produce an "equitable" free trade situation.  You should read through these agreements.  Pretty scary stuff actually.

These agreements and their predecessors are the reasons why farmers from the state of Illinois are buying up property in other countries (in particular in Central America) because they can not afford to farm the land here in Illinois.

The U.S. Governement has thrown off its responsiblities of governing Trade to International Enitities.  It is all a part of this Globalization that Bush is pushing.

Adhering to these trade agreements instead of "Constitutionally Governoring" trade will effectively make the United States just another 3rd world country.

Welcome Randall, and good luck at the polls.

Funny thing that Constituion, lots of good stuff in there if more people would take the time to read it.

Thank you, Cobra!

Sadly, you are exactly right.  The fact is that most of our leaders in government have no idea what it says and even worse, what it means.

By the end of November, the Constitution Party of Illinois will begin providing Constitutional Training through one-day seminars to help our citizens to know and understand the freedoms that are being robbed from them and to know and understand what those in leadership SHOULD be doing and how they should be doing it.

The the thread "Political Potpourri VIII" there was a discussion concerning me, my campaign and my party.  To be quite frank, it was one of the better discussions that I have seen and because of that I wanted to commend those who participated and say hi to my relative, Cindy.

I also wanted to share some of my ideals, who I am and where I stand on issues.  Below is the beginning.  Please feel free to ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer them.

Randall C. Stufflebeam
Chairman and
Gubernatorial Candidate
Constitution Party of Illinois

For those of you, who may not share my faith, do not be alarmed. I am not now, nor will I ever push for a “Theocracy” in the Constitution Party of Illinois, the State of Illinois or the United States of America. DO NOT forget, that almost without exception, every one of our Founding Fathers were “deeply religious” men. It was these “deeply religious” men who brilliantly framed the Constitution of the United States. They created a constitution which also included a “Bill of Rights.” The First Amendment (The first “Bill” in our “Bill of Rights”) states that, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...” This includes your right to NOT be religious if that’s your choice. So, whether you, yourself, are religious or not, don’t be afraid to support another “deeply religious” man (just as our founding fathers WERE) who will stand up for all of our freedoms (just as our founding fathers DID). It is because of my convictions that God has created us all as equal and free men (and women), that I stand against the tyranny that threatens all of our freedoms, both within this state and our country. Join with me in this “War for Independence” against a government that wants to control every aspect of our lives.
