In the USA a War was supported in Afghanistan after the 911 attacks, less political support for a War in Iraq, these conflicts seen the 20-year war on terror, the collapse of Iraq and infighting, the growth of ISIS and $8 trillion spent and 900,000 deaths, however ISIS declined and almost vanished during the Trump Presidency, the media complained about all the deaths of Americans in Iraq but how high were the numbers during Bush junior, Obama, Trump how bad do these numbers stack up in blood, how horrific was it truly compared to other big wars, nations and other conflicts and the USA 4,430 + total deaths in Iraq only had 2,450+ United States military deaths in Afghanistan and but many other American soldiers injured. Russia and Ukraine however are seeing hundreds of thousands of their people dying, it seems like entire generations are wasted away, however there are broadcasts of propaganda Russia says it is not losing so many men and Ukraine has more dying while Ukrainian estimates of Russia military losses tended to be high, while Russian estimates of their own losses tended to be low, a US estimate said 70,000 killed Ukraine soldiers, 100,000–120,000 wounded a BBC News estimate 115,000 killed Russians, 214,000 wounded, a US estimate 350,000 killed and wounded Russians, the numbers of dead are at levels not seen since WW2. Many foreign mercenary gun for hire citizens from 24 countries are also confirmed to have been killed.
Now we have reports Russia preparing 100,000 soldiers for the bloody meat grinder and for another major offensive

Ukraine might eventually sink most of the ships in Russia's Black Sea Fleet, but it wouldn't help them win their war against Russia, because Russia has never been a great naval power. Their submarines are potentially very dangerous, either to Russian sailors or their enemies. Russia is literally flattening Ukrainian cities with artillery barrages and missile strikes. There's not much left. Ukraine will never recover from this war. The Russians wanted to negotiate a peace deal last year when their invasion was going badly, but the NATO clownshow didn't want Zelensky to sue for peace. Now he's facing abandonment, just as the Afghanis faced abandonment in Afghanistan, because our politicians are grotesque cretins who prey upon the very people they're supposed to serve.
Nobody is lining up to join western military forces because they don't see any point to volunteering to give their lives for the causes of people who hate their very existence, and would never lift a finger to help them, assuming they weren't actively looking for ways to hurt them.

From the clips I have seen it would seem Vladimir Putin dominated and controlled Interview, Tucker was almost getting lectured and Putin giving a weird, strange, warped version of history and makes excuses for war and imperialism, the first interview with Putin to be granted to a Western journalist since the full scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Adam Kinzinger referred to Carlson as a "traitor", while representative Marjorie Taylor Greene praised Carlson's decision, Guy Verhofstadt, wrote that the European Union (EU) ought to consider issuing Carlson with a travel restriction. I didn't watch it all but it is said Carlson asked whether Putin would release Evan Gershkovich, an American journalist detained in Russia

The Prime Minister concluded that in his view, throughout history, Hungary has always been surrounded by empires bigger than itself, and said that "we never sought to have a bite of them, they have always been the ones who wanted to have a bite of us". But
Hungary "has chosen the tactic of making sure it's there to attend the funerals of empires", and "this is our plan for the future as well".

Under martial law, Ukrainian officials have to get special approval to travel abroad.
The Ukrainian parliament's deputy speaker, Oleksandr Korniyenko, later confirmed he had cancelled Poroshenko's permission to leave the country.

Helmet cam combat footage from Ukrainian forces defending Avdiivka shows a trench fighting position come under direct assault by Russian armor.
The Ukrainian forces have already suffered casualties and are not equipped to deal with a direct attack from hardened fighting vehicles. Luckily, some nearby M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles come to the rescue. They stop the Russian advance and rapidly evacuate the besieged troops from the no-longer-defensible fighting position.
The Bradleys taxi the fighters off the front line to refit and rearm, and the wounded begin receiving a higher level of care from medical teams.
