The primary reason for using NMIS is to allow New Mars Forums registered users to upload or submit their user-generated / "owned" images related to the various technical topics for the New Mars Forums. For example, if you have an idea for a Mars Interplanteary Transport Vehicle that you, as a New Mars Forums registered user, have created yourself, or otherwise "own" the rights to, then you may submit them here and then link to them in your New Mars Forums posts.
