Japan Could Become the Second Country to Put Boots on the Moon

https://www.popularmechanics.com/space/ … rtnership/

Japan wants in on NASA’s Artemis program, which is aiming to return Americans to the surface of the moon in the next decade. While Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has long voiced its support for the program, the move could lead to a Japanese astronaut setting foot on the lunar surface in the coming years. If that happens, Japan will become the second nation to place a person on the moon.

Re: The Japanese 'Lunar Cruiser' & Planetary Moon Rovers?

In Japan companies the ESG conversations are usually led by investor-relations teams rather than by the CEO and board, Environmental Social and Governance a way for Japan checking its sustainability and ethical impact of an investment in a business or company.

In recent weeks, mainstream Japanese media, echoing their foreign counterparts, have begun reporting second thoughts about the wisdom of investments and corporate policies based on environmental, social and governance ESG concerns.

This appears to be laying the groundwork for a revisionist pivot away from ESG and its close cousin, sustainable development goals (SDG), roughly five years after the twin utopian projects were launched. The religious overtones of woke capitalism never attracted true believers in Japan, in contrast to countries with a Christian heritage of sin, repentance, redemption and salvation.

Toyota heading to moon with cruiser, robotic arms, dreams
https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14534415

The vehicle being developed with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency is called Lunar Cruiser, whose name pays homage to the Toyota Land Cruiser sport utility vehicle. Its launch is set for the late 2020’s.

The vehicle is based on the idea that people eat, work, sleep and communicate with others safely in cars, and the same can be done in outer space, said Takao Sato, who heads the Lunar Cruiser project at Toyota Motor Corp.

“We see space as an area for our once-in-a-century transformation. By going to space, we may be able to develop telecommunications and other technology that will prove valuable to human life,” Sato told The Associated Press.

Gitai Japan Inc., a venture contracted with Toyota, has developed a robotic arm for the Lunar Cruiser, designed to perform tasks such as inspection and maintenance. Its “grapple fixture” allows the arm’s end to be changed so it can work like different tools, scooping, lifting and sweeping.

Gitai Chief Executive Sho Nakanose said he felt the challenge of blasting off into space has basically been met but working in space entails big costs and hazards for astronauts. That’s where robots would come in handy, he said.

Since its founding in the 1930s, Toyota has fretted about losing a core business because of changing times. It has ventured into housing, boats, jets and robots. Its net-connected sustainable living quarters near Mount Fuji, called Woven City, where construction is starting this year.

Japanese fascination with the moon has been growing.

A private Japanese venture called ispace Inc. is working on lunar rovers, landing and orbiting, and is scheduled for a moon landing later this year. Businessman Yusaku Maezawa, who recently took videos of himself floating around in the International Space Station, has booked an orbit around the moon aboard Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s Starship.

Toyota engineer Shinichiro Noda said he is excited about the lunar project, an extension of the automaker’s longtime mission to serve customers and the moon may provide valuable resources for life on Earth.

“Sending our cars to the moon is our mission,” he said. Toyota has vehicles almost everywhere. “But this is about taking our cars to somewhere we have never been.”

Japan now helps an islamic Theocrat Sharia Law monarchy get to the Moon, the Emirates Arab Rover was on Space X Elon Musk's Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket.

an islamic ambassador once answered Thomas Jefferson that rights of a terror Moongod called al-Lah were founded on the Laws of the Prophet, this Sharia Law was written in their Quran or Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were haram infidel kuffir sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever the sinner could be found, and to make them pay extra taxes and tribute or to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every 'Mussulman' who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise,
Quran 3 : 169 -170  writes  Think not of those who are slain in for the demon Moongod of Babylon named for al-Lah's way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord; They rejoice in the bounty provided by the Moongod al-Lah: And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them in their blissfulness, the Martyr glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they cause to grieve."
they would be rewarded with virgins and little boys as beautiful as pearls to serve them, the founder of islam mahomet did after all marry a 6 yr old Aisha and now we will proliferate this 'culture' across the solar system?
There is a strange X-rated demonic pornographic paradise promised to jihadi men of islam, many of the islamic culture do not consider boys to be men yet...so they make them dress up like girls or women?
People wonder where 'Bacha Bazi' culture comes from it is written in their so-called holy texts that “Immortal boys will go around them serving”.

Will they start giving cluster of rocks mohammedan jihadi names or Japan folklore names?

Saving cultures across the solar system as other cultures go extinct??

Japan okays GPS tracking for bail after Ghosn case

https://www.spacedaily.com/reports/Japa … e_999.html

Japan on Wednesday enacted a law authorising courts to use GPS for tracking defendants on bail, a measure pushed for after the dramatic 2019 escape of former Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn.

The revised criminal proceedings law approved Wednesday will enable courts to order the placement of GPS devices on defendants to prevent them from fleeing Japan.

The defendants will be banned from removing or destroying the trackers, and prohibited from entering areas designated by courts as off-limits, such as ports and airports.

Violations could incur detention and imprisonment of up to a year.

Calls for GPS monitoring, common in many countries for those on bail or under house arrest, followed Ghosn's escape from Japan after he was smuggled onto a private plane in a large musical equipment case.

Ghosn, who was arrested in November 2018, fled while on bail, facing financial misconduct charges that he denied. He remains an international fugitive.

With help from an American private-security contractor, hidden in a musical instrument box, Ghosn fled from Japan to Lebanon via Turkey on 30 December 2019, by private jet, breaking his bail conditions. On 2 January 2020, Interpol issued a red notice to Lebanon seeking Ghosn's arrest. Since his escape, he has frequently been interviewed by various media, published books, is the subject of a TV series in Europe, and a documentary by BBC's Storyville
