Were they hired as protection then no they should not be there and the police should remove them as they are picketing the polls for the purpose of intimidation. They can not be there for the protest of voting....

Re: Election Meddling

President Trump refused to promise Thursday that he’ll accept the results of November’s election despite bipartisan outrage over his declining a day earlier to commit to a peaceful transition of power if Joe Biden wins. Trump reiterated his debunked claim that the election results could be tainted because of mail-in voting and that he thereby might not be able to trust them. But that is how he himself voted in the declared state of Florida...

Paxton alleged that the group cast mail-in ballots for able-bodied voters during the 2018 primary, falsely proclaiming that the voters were disabled.

With all the garbage about mail in ballots it occurred to me that a space cast ballots are very tricky as well to verify for a signature let alone a witness..

All efforts are on in battle ground states that could go either way for absentee ballot use.Minnesota absentee ballot extension is upheld a six-day extension for counting absentee ballots in Wisconsin's presidential election

While Texas has a limit on drop locations currently which should be the same for ballot voting locations to be fair...

Voting was never intended to announce a winner on the day of the vote... Which is why the electoral college was created to allow for the wishes of the states to be brought to the congress for those votes that had taken time to tally in each state.

All of this is to create a contestable which is why the GOP is moving to place a new supreme court judge.

Re: Election Meddling

Well, in 60 hours we should know the results of an election that may well determine the future of Western civilisation.  If one side wins, the US will descend into socialism, free speech will die, monetary inflation will accelerate, civil war may begin and America's decline whilst apparently inevitable, will be hastened, making way for Chinese hegemony.  If the other side wins, western civilisation gets a stay of execution; for how long no one can say.

There is no escaping the decline in living standards that we all have to face due to the decline in surplus energy from fossil fuels.  That has been happening since at least the 1990s.  COVID has accelerated this declining prosperity, as governments already saddled with deficit have inflated their own money supply in a vain attempt to prop up withering economies.  Next stop: currency crisis.
https://www.goldmoney.com/research/gold … on-is-here

It is the decline in freedom that damages civilisation the most; the sort of decline that seems to be inevitable when political idealists exploit the social divisions that declining prosperity brings.  In Russia, these people exploited the hungry and desperate and gave them the October Revolution.  Misery and death followed on an unimaginable scale.  Is America due to go the same way?  The answer may hinge on the outcome of the coming election.

Re: Election Meddling

You could look into "The Fourth Turning", and maybe not be so sure.

In a certain way, in my opinion, the so called "West", should be modified.  As the world split between Eurasian and Eurafrican parts, it is my opinion, that America became overly charged with the habits of the parts that it could call on, and rejected some of what if formerly had, as it resembled the enemy.

I do believe that Eurasia will be on the rise, however the definition of that is not properly understood in wide circles.  For instance I regard some things called Asian to actually have equal or even more influence from the African and Eurafrican characteristics.

North America by my opinion by 1/2 belongs in the Eurasian sphere.

For Chinas problems you might refer to "Peter Zeihan".

America is just struggling to return to it's roots, a balance.

Around 200 people in Graham, North Carolina.  Law enforcement officers in Graham, North Carolina, used pepper spray on people, including young children, who were marching to a local polling station on Saturday, and made multiple arrests.. The march, called "I Am Change," was to rally voter participation on the last day of early voting across the country. Police deployed what appeared to be pepper spray into the permitted rally area as well as into groups of bystanders on sidewalks in an attempt to clear the area. Before the chaotic end, multiple cars and trucks drove through the area, displaying Trump signs in what appeared to be opposition to the multiracial voter turnout rally.

Re: Election Meddling

SpaceNut,

A vestige is a remainder or leftover of something that no longer exists.  The Democrats never forgave my fellow Republicans for taking their slaves away from them, which is why they started the kkk and enacted Jim Crow laws.  Democrats are still very hateful and vengeful towards anyone who doesn't share their belief system.

Yale Psychologist, Dr. Bandy Xenobia Lee, says that the cities of middle America need to be firebombed like Dresden to "break the Trump spell".  I guess she's either too stupid or evil to know or care that both Democrats and Republicans live there.  She's a "forensic psychiatrist", and I guess that only means that she has doctorate-level training in how to think like a complete sociopath.  It's evil clowns like her, and other assorted common street thugs, that your political party constantly puts up on pedestals, that worry middle America.  She is precisely the type of product that Democrat-run indoctrination centers (formerly universities) have been producing as of late.  She's a mindless ideology worshipper, no different than any other religious fanatic, and projecting her beliefs onto others.  She belongs in a padded cell, where her fantasies about mass-murdering her fellow Americans because of where they live or who they voted for can be studied in great detail without unacceptable danger to the general public.

1. Trespassing and stealing from other people is a great way to get shot.  Democrats should seriously consider keeping their grubby little mitts off other peoples' property, irrespective of whether or not they like yard signs supporting a different political party's candidate for office.

2. The only people who are afraid of their constituents are Democrats.  That's why they kowtow to violent rioters that the media pretend are "protesting".  Republicans haven't been burning down the shopping malls, fast food joints, gas stations, or torching entire lots filled with cars.  All of that activity has been the exclusive domain of leftist mobs of assorted anarchist and communist street thugs.  None of you leftists ever have an answer for that.  Burn-Loot-Murder is a communist subversive front, not a group that gives a damn about black people.  The anti-fascists are the biggest group of fascists in the entire country, putting the neo-nazis to shame.

3. Yes, the dishonesty of the Democrat-run media has been a defining characteristic of the Trump Presidency.  The media spent 3 years spreading lies about the Russian collusion fraud perpetrated by Hillary Clinton's campaign, which never amounted to a hill of beans.

That's why they don't report on their various Democrat-run fraud schemes, like the one run by the lovely lady below, named Racquel Rodriguez here in Texas:

RIGGED ELECTION: TX 'Ballot Chaser' Illegally Pressures Voters To Change Votes; "I could go to jail"

Jimmy Dore does, however, since he's a real progressive and not a communist subversive.

Federal Employee Activist Tactics For Sabotage In Bureaucracy

5. Please tell me you don't believe TMZ counts as "news".

Sometimes it's hard for me to believe that we are both products of the same education / indoctrination system, but we are.  Anyway, we're not having another civil war over who wins or loses a silly election.  Anybody who thinks otherwise needs to clean out their headgear.

Re: Election Meddling

The US has a constitution that protects freedom of speech.  European countries have nothing like that.  Europe went 'Full Orwell' a long time ago.  In Europe, expressing the wrong opinion online is likely to attract the attention of the secret police.  The place really is that dark.  Take a look at the article below.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-euro … 7J1C3?il=0

Will a Biden presidency snuff out the last vestiges of intellectual freedom in the US? There appear to be a lot of powerful people that want exactly that.

Re: Election Meddling

Calliban,

The western world has gone full "Brave New World", not full "1984". The regressive left fantasizes about "re-educating" or murdering anyone who doesn't share their ideology, but they tend to use psychological propaganda to try to sell their morally bankrupt ideas to anyone soft-headed enough to buy into their religious beliefs.

Take note of how so little of what I point out is ever refuted in any serious way.  Leftists know that their beliefs sound sociopathic when spoken out loud or committed to paper, so they have to hide that- even from themselves, which is why they never respond with what they actually believe, because if they do then it's immediately clear what their true objectives and core beliefs are and how inimical those beliefs are to the values espoused in our Constitution.

Bandy Lee also had this to say about President Trump before she removed it, possibly after someone else pointed out how closely her beliefs match those of the nazis:

Donald Trump is not an Adolf Hitler.  At least Hitler improved the daily life of his followers, had discipline, and required more of himself to gain the respect of his followers. Even with the same pathology, there are varying degrees of competence.

That's good 'ole Bandy, telling you exactly what she believes in.  She thinks Adolf Hitler improved the lives of his followers.  I guess the fact that tens of millions of his followers died in a war they had no hope of winning was just a minor detail that regressive leftist re-education camps, formerly known as universities, doesn't teach anymore.  The salient point is that she admires Hitler.  Why?  Hitler was a fellow regressive leftist who did to other people what she fantasizes about doing to other people that she disagrees with.  The college she works for didn't fire or demote her, so that's how you can tell that she literally surrounded by people who share her beliefs.  Yale has become an echo chamber of communist idiocy.  Their job is to mint brand new ideologically indoctrinated useful idiots, as Lenin would call them.  They can't very well attack the product of their indoctrination system for vociferously espousing the sophomoric drivel that they filled her soft head with, now can they?

Here she is responding to the aftermath of her tweet:

Okay, I have taken it down, since it has upset so many people and was not provoking thought but the opposite.  Of note, my statement was about how little Donald Trump believes he needs to do to retain his followership, NOT to minimize Adolf Hitler’s atrocities.

This is how you can actually tell that she really has no slight clue what it is that she just advocated for.  She praised Hitler by stating something objectively and verifiably false (that he, in any way, "improved the lives of his followers"), but this is where little miss useful idiot is completely oblivious to what she just stated- because she's been "indoctrinated", not "educated".  She's never been taught to think for herself, so all she will ever be capable of doing, outside of her own creativity, is regurgitating what she was indoctrinated to believe.

If we cannot look at parallels in history and learn from them, we are truly poised to repeat it.  I say so in heartbreak for the 11+ million lives lost, not in their minimization (currently, we are looking at 7 billion at risk, without exaggeration if we soberly thought of it).

I know most of you understood, and I appreciate it!

Well, some of us did understand "it" (the thing you just advocated for, without the intellectual sophistication necessary to recognize "it", "it" being any statement or deed in service to an ideology devoid of morality).  We recognize that you simultaneously didn't truly learn anything from history and know precious little about human psychology, hence the thoroughly unsophisticated yet sociopathic line of argumentation you used.  To be fair to her, most of her ilk aren't very sophisticated thinkers.  If she isn't capable of accurately summarizing her thoughts adequately over Twitter to express what she actually intended, then that just adds more evidence to support my claim.  People who know what they wish to articulate to others simply do so, they do not later claim that their words didn't reflect what they actually meant.

Anyway...  She's completely and hopelessly lost in her demented belief system about people who don't share her ideology, exactly as the rest of our far left radicals are.  Someone brainwashed her into believing such nonsense.  She isn't intelligent enough to come up with this stuff on her own.  If she was, then she'd make a more articulate argument.  Like so many others who share her ideology, she also lacks the strength of character to reject blatantly immoral behavior.

Bandy is most likely suffering from severe OCD, since that's typically what leads people to entertaining thoughts of violence against others, such as mass murdering people who they disagree with over politics.  The one thing my father taught me about OCD personalities is that they do a much better job of hiding their condition than people who are depressed, for example, who typically only hurt themselves (until these OCD-types don't, but by then it's typically far too late for their victims).  Virtually all dictators were OCD personalities to astonishing degrees.  They simply have defective programming, their programming runs in a self-sustaining feedback loop (they didn't get the result I wanted, so run they run the program again, looking for a different result), and no matter how many times they run the same program with the same input, their three pound universe / onboard computer won't produce a different output.

I feel bad for people like Bandy Lee, but my empathy for her plight won't cause me to behave as an enabler of her morally bankrupt ideology.

Re: Election Meddling

Some states are planning to count mail in ballots that arrive *a week after election day*.

Does America not know how to run elections? If you have mail in ballots, you set a deadline by which people have to post them for them to be counted, so that they will arrive *by the time everyone votes*. It's not like the date of the election was a surprise to anybody.

In the UK, we know what the results are by the morning after, without relying on electronic voting machines. It seems to work well enough.

The US election seems likely to leave the country more divided and polarised than at any point since its founding.  One half of the country now believes it has been cheated a defrauded out of its vote.

Re: Election Meddling

Robert,

I was hoping that after former Vice President Biden is elected President, the "mostly peaceful" protesting would stop, but the "mostly peaceful" protesters have stated that they will become "even more peaceful" after he's elected President.  Pay no attention to the leftists attacking the Democrats they voted for or burning down their own cities.

The process simply takes a little bit longer when the vote tallying Democrats have to fill in the ballots for former Vice President Biden.

Here, watch a video of them doing that:

Re: Election Meddling

Calliban,

Watch the video so you can see with your own two eyes what the Democrats are doing, but do so at your earliest inconvenience before YouTube censors it.  America is a full-on banana republic now.  When Pennsylvania's Democrat DA said President Trump would never win in Pennsylvania, now you know exactly what was meant by that.  Take note that I already congratulated President-elect Biden in the Politics thread.  I did that because I already know what the results will be.  I don't need to see any vote tally.  When President-elect Biden said that he didn't need our votes, just our support, and that he had created the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud campaign in American history, he wasn't lying.

I support our new President-elect, Joe Biden.  If everyone here knows what's good for them, then they will, too.  If not, then the truth and reconciliation commission will be along to re-educate you.  Even antifa knows that our Democrat Party are a bunch of fascists, which is why they are "mostly peacefully protesting" against them.  They're not BLM-ing (burning / looting / murdering) in Republican-run cities, just Democrat-run cities.  There has to be a reason for that.  Apart from themselves, the anti-fascists know who their opposition is- namely, the fascists that they voted for.

Re: Election Meddling

I honestly don't get it. Elections are not that hard to do quickly and fairly. People show up, mark a piece of paper in secret, the paper gets transported to a counting location without being let out of sight, and then people under strict observation by all parties count up the ballots during the night. By morning, you know who's won. If people need to vote by mail, they apply for a ballot and get it in before the polls close - if it doesn't arrive by then, it isn't counted.

Re: Election Meddling

I'm disappointed. Based on election results as of yesterday, if Trump wins Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Alaska, while Biden wins Nevada and Arizona, the final electoral college votes are 270 for Biden, 268 for Trump. That's very close, but Biden still wins. No need to cheat.

It isn't tough at all and we've being doing it in western countries since Victorian times.  This is not working because a significant subsection of the population doesn't want it to.  Left wing idealists are mentally ill people and there is no depth they will not sink to in order to get the result they want.  Sad and lonely people, frightened of the world and disappointed in life, seem to be drawn to left wing politics in the same way that shite attracts flies.

It is because of freaks like this that you cannot rely on postal voting.  There are simply too many opportunities for determined wackjobs (of which there are many) to tamper with the voting system.  And if there are ways of doing so, there are people obsessed enough that they will do it, even at the risk of doing time.  Left wing political groups are in favour of postal voting , precisely because they know they are likely to be beneficiaries of electoral fraud.  They don't care as long as they win and get their way.  This is what the mental illness of Marxism does to people.
