I don't find that particular anomaly too impressive, the reason being that on Earth (and so presumably on Mars as well) wind erosion can create perfectly circular holes in rocks and stones...

I think there are to many square and rough edges for the hole in the object to be caused by wind or water erosion. I think its been drilled because of how perfect the hole is, but there are no rover tracks either. Although, the rovers don't always leave tracks on harder surface areas. Odd object none the less.

Does anyone know what's in the pic thats been circulating this week. Looks to be a rock that's been drilled, some are saying its man made. Having problems posting pic, I'm new here. Thanks for any help.
