Here's a new thread to lighten up the mood from the serious discussions regarding the red planet, our own pet section. I own a Siamese cat named Nana. When I'm stressed from work, I come home to this furry little critter, purring for some cat food. She’s a little furball who loves to play with her cat toys in the morning and cuddle at night before bed time. She may be a bit too playful at times, but she’s a kind companion, overall. Feel free to share your pet stories with us.
I know this thread is from years ago, but I can't help but ask the same thing. The best part about this is if you can even connect it to a VR.
But I understand the rings block radiation, it is like a giant wall that charged particles caught by Saturn's magnetic field, slam into.
Another great trivia for today.
Man, I didn't hear about India's Mars Orbiter Mission until now. Glad I came across this one.
Hmm, interesting view on extraterrestrials, overall.
I remember discusion of putting more water into the air with Void and the drawback of that is apparent with the deluge of rain that we can not control when or where it will come back down..
Well, nature wasn't meant to be controlled by humans, either that or there would be "side effects."
I'd have to agree with you on that, SpaceNut.
I have a boat with a diesel engine. It is fitted with a proprietary filter/water separator. Is that what you mean, Sunpraiser?
I drain it down and replace it's filter every year and carry a set of spares for it. I wouldn't go out on the boat without this device in good order. It all comes before the fuel pump so particles don't wear the pump. The Fass one doesn't seem to be so arranged.
Hmm, that clears things up.
It may be hard to believe that nearly 80% of all people living in third world countries have no access to electricity. That is an estimated 1.5 Billion people with no electricity. To which majority of people without energy being at or below the poverty line. I wonder what that percentage is for those in a home and homeless? Also how many have heat, running water, working toilets ect... for that same question?
Tough questions to ponder each day.
Thanks for sharing, man! This is amazing!
This is fascinating!
The reference to commercial partners is important, too. The only way NASA will get to the moon and Mars in any reasonable timeline and price is through partnerships with Space X and Jeff Bezos. Musk's BFR/BFS could be landing people on the moon by 2024 and for a tenth the amount of money NASA would have to spend.
Good point!
This was a great read! Thanks for sharing!
The repeal went on, but the war isn't over. We must reach out to Congress in order to stop its full implementation.
Thank you very much, everyone! Thank you all for the warm welcome!
Newbie here. I'm glad to have found this great online "Mars" community. I'm hoping to learn more about the fascinating red planet, and this forum looks like it'll definitely help a lot. Cheers!
